Her motherly bond with Axew is so touching and cute, all her Pokemon are such fun and well-developed characters in their own right, I love their dynamics among each other and Ash’s Pokemon too!
I love Iris’ playful bond with Ash, the way she teases, but they’re also more alike.

I love her dynamic with Cilan (a surprise to absolutely NO ONE, I love Wishfulshipping!) They balance each other out beautifully with their differences, even if they disagree (Iris being more spiritual and Cilan more of a skeptic rationalist), they make each other feel safe.

It’s the funniest, cutest thing to me that they feel safest around each other, even when it doesn’t make sense; Iris is a head shorter than Cilan—minus her pigtails—but he still hid behind her froma. Purrloin! Iris is more agile & stronger than he is, but he’s protective of her!
