Carat Room Project - Renovation

So I realized, I've been able to spend too much on SVT merchs & I almost finished collecting their albums/dvd, so why not spends some more o. renovating my room into an RQ&S Carats inspired bedroom.

+ okay I lied, I just want to have a room that I can display all my karupukans & stare at it everytime.

It's hard pulling it out into my box/cabinet. I'm sort of organized person but messy.

1st phase: CEILING

I got single light currently, I plan to have a center light & four corner lights.

The wiring has been done today.
I already bought all the needed materials.

The ceiling is almost finish... I think I'll paint this myself once done.

It's not exact color of rqs (it's hard to find the exact color here in the province ) but it's cute and I love it

The ceiling also finished painting but the center light is not yet installed and there are some decor I haven't set yet.

Anyway so far so good (... and expensive )

Tiles work will start this week (hopefully we find a good worker for it)

This is the tiles I choose
It's a bit pricey but it's good and excellent quality.

The floor tiles has been installed.

Next will be the door/windows replacement.

Door is currently ongoing (ordered/fit to made, as there are no ready made here)

Also bought doorknob for it.

This would be painted white with gold trims.

It takes super long to install the center light (the electrician doesn't show up My father installed it instead)

I'm srs having trouble in open shelf design.

I can't carelessly buy online, for the possibility it's not sturdy or big enough to hold the merchs.

If it's custom made, there's limitation of what carpenter can do.

Finally! Got the design for shelves cabinet that I'm satisfied/want to.

This srs took me a lot to think.
Putting consideration the sturdiness, design, and overall usage.

Just imagine these three into one/side by side.

On to construction now!

Decided not to change the windows.
I bought Venetian blinds instead of curtains.

I love attending those events even though I'm alone. Carats are so friendly that you'll always find yourself talking to someone like he/she is your friend for a long time

These are the shelves. It's custom build to fit the size of the albums perfectly.

So it's not arranged by released but rather by size & type.

This shelf is unplanned, but I'm glad the carpenter included it. I got place to put my oty paper bag, HengGarae diy album holder (planned to make it binder for big cards that doesn't fit the pc/tc binder) & Yoonie
