The long awaited basketball game ended with Seoul University team as the winner with a close call. The court is filled with mixed of cheers and noise.

Chanyeol pants his breath out as the whistle blows, watching his opponent celebrating their win. Then his eyes

meet the latter's team captain, Lee Hongki. The latter smiles and approaches him first to offer a handshake "good game bro, we're parched"

Chanyeol smiles "congrats on the win, it's been a while since I feel this intense during game"

"let's do it again next time" Hongki says

"of course, we'll be determine to win the next"

Hongki chuckles "can't wait ! oh wait I saw Kyungsoo over there, I'll go meet him first"

Chanyeol freezes for a second, not even manage to say anything as Hongki is already leaving. His eyes sharpen, following how Hongki

jogs towards Kyungsoo and hugs the smaller who also cheerfully congratulates him obviously.

Chanyeol clicks his tongue, jealousy spikes inside his chest and its annoying because he can't act his feeling out, he can't just go tell Hongki to back off from his boyfriend.

"Yeol" comes a soft voice, grabbing in his right arm

Chanyeol flinches, seeing that its Rose, offering her usual bright smile.

"Don't be sad, you've done well" Rose says

"uhm thanks, I didn't know you're here" Chanyeol says, pulling his arm back

There's a visible hurt in

the girl's eyes but she smiles nevertheless "I won't miss it...you're looking the best doing things you enjoy...I've always love to see it"

"well, isn't that work for everyone ? You just gotta enjoy what you're doing, even if you lose" Chanyeol laughs at his own remarks

Kyungsoo whines when Hongki lightly hit his head, pouting at the older who snorts in return "why did you hit me !!"

"I'm talking to you but your soul is not here, where are you even looking at" Hongki says, looking back at where Kyungsoo has been staring then chuckles.

"ah your team captain is so handsome, sorry though, I beat your crush" Hongki adds nonchalantly

Kyungsoo freezes for a second before widening his eyes "uh w-what are you talking about uhm I was looking at Sehun, my cousin !"

"yeah yeah I believe your lie" Hongki teases

"Hyunggg stop teasing me" Kyungsoo whines, crossing his arms in a frown.

Hongki laughs "so, are you just gonna stand here and let that girl cling on your man ?"

Kyungsoo pouts "why is she there anywa---wait my m-man ? uh w-what...n-nonsense"

Hongki then rolls his eyes

"so you didn't make a move yet ? I told you just confess because I got a feeling that he likes you too !"

Flashback to when Kyungsoo basically blurted out that he likes Chanyeol when Hongki keep pestering him about it during their hang out.

Kyungsoo rounds up his eyes

and make a gesture to shhh "hyung you promised to not let people know about it, keep quiet"

Hongki presses his lips together "right, okay I got it but don't blame me if he leaves you for that girl, she's really pretty though"

"hyuuungg stop rub it in !!" Kyungsoo whines

Kyungsoo holds his breath as opens the door of Chanyeol car, both blush when their eyes meet.

"Hi" Chanyeol mutters first

Kyungsoo smiles the widest until his jaw hurts, awkwardly climb in the passenger seat then sit straight with his lips pressed tightly together.

He gasps when Chanyeol suddenly leans in, turning his head and now they're only inches away "u-uhm...what ?"

Chanyeol chuckles "chill, I'm not gonna eat you"

Kyungsoo blushes as Chanyeol pulls Kyungsoo's seatbelt then puts it on. He cups his warm cheeks as he could smell

Chanyeol's perfume.

"you can just park your car here, its safe" Chanyeol says, turning on the ignition.

"oh okay...uhm so where do we go ?" Kyungsoo asks

Chanyeol hums "eat ? That match got me starving"

Kyungsoo's eyes light up "I know a restaurant that I like !"

Chanyeol smiles "alright, show me the way...put the address on the gps"

Kyungsoo does as told, typing intently on the gps monitor while Chanyeol glances at him.

"so, uhm...you told Hongki hyung that you like me ?" Chanyeol asks so suddenly, catching Kyungsoo off guard that

he goes red instantly.

"it was...a slip of mouth, he was pestering me" Kyungsoo pouts, feeling wronged.

"well, that's good. Then he will know his place not to flirt with my baby" Chanyeol says

Kyungsoo bites his lips, not used to the pet name "he's just playful sometimes"

Then Kyungsoo turns to Chanyeol, looking at him with his round eyes wordlessly. Chanyeol raises his eyebrows but already knows what Kyungsoo is curious about, he licks his lips "give me your hand"

"huh ? my hand ? for what ?" Kyungsoo asks, confused as he places his smaller

hand onto Chanyeol's larger one. Chanyeol then interwines their fingers together "I'm not interested to look back on the past, she was my past, the current me is yours"

Kyungsoo parts his lips, taken aback yet shy at the same time "uhm..stop saying those stuffs so casually"

Chanyeol laughs "what stuff ? I'm just reassuring you that you don't have to worry about anyone but us. Today is about us hmm ? Its our first official date as boyfriends"

Kyungsoo presses his lips together, his heart skips a beat "this feels so surreal"

"really ? why ?" Chanyeol asks, getting comfortable with their interwined hands as he pulls them on top of his thigh.

"well you see, its just a secret crush..but now...it feels like a dream" Kyungsoo blushes.

"so, do I need to kiss you to prove that this is real ?" Chanyeol

smirks playfully.

Kyungsoo pouts, though his face is as red as tomato already, he timidly turns to look at Chanyeol. Once their eyes meet, his nervousness is replaced with warmth, with happiness, with realization that this is indeed real after all. They both smile at each other.

"so what is an ideal date for you ?" Chanyeol asks

Kyungsoo hums "eat, movie ?, eat, park ? uhm I don't know either, I never dated anyone before"

Chanyeol chuckles "then it's my honor to be your first..let's do everything you want today"

Kyungsoo smiles "okay"

"Do you like this restaurant ?" Chanyeol asks once he parked his car.

Kyungsoo's eyes sparkle at the signboard "yes, its my favorite restaurant. I ate here so many times already, ah I'm salivating"

Chanyeol chuckles then they both come out from the car.

"so what's your favorite dish ?" Chanyeol asks as they enter the said restaurant.

"Buljajangmyeon ! It's very tasty, you should have a taste of it" Kyungsoo tells excitedly.

It's not so crowded today so the waiter allow them to chose their table. However as Kyungsoo looks

around, his eyes widen at the sight of Baekhyun and Sehun eating at one table. He quickly pulls Chanyeol to hide behind the wall, much to the taller's surprise "why ?"

Kyungsoo pouts a little "I saw Baekhyun and Sehun...we can't be seen by them"

Chanyeol blinks "ah, then

should we go to another restaurant ?"

Kyungsoo pouts even more "but my Buljajang"

Chanyeol coos internally, patting the latter's hair "how about we go watch a movie first then come back here later ? I'm not that hungry now, we can come back once they leave"

Kyungsoo purses his lips "is that okay ? I mean, we could just go to another restaurant"

Chanyeol smiles, taking Kyungsoo's hand and walks out the restaurant "I'm curious too about your favorite dish..unless you're hungry, we could just comeback later...a movie is only like

2 hours or something"

Kyungsoo feels bad "but you said you're starving"

"not anymore, being with you make me full" Chanyeol says

Kyungsoo scrunches his nose "I'm being serious ! You can't ignore empty stomach !"

Chanyeol squeezes his hand "I'm okay really. So, movie ?"

Kyungsoo is still pouting by the time they arrived at the cinema, Chanyeol quietly chuckles.

"aww we will get your buljajang later...any movie you want to watch ?" Chanyeol asks, caressing Kyungsoo's hair.

Kyungsoo hums "thriller ? What about you ?"

"I don't have

anything in mind, let's see what's available on the board" Chanyeol says, pointing at the counter where people are lining.

"how about you just chose anything that around this hour, I'll buy some popcorn and nachos?" Kyungsoo suggests

"ah okay, don't ge lost" Chanyeol jokes

Kyungsoo snorts "tell that to yourself"

Chanyeol just laughs then Kyungsoo goes to the snack sections, getting serious as he read over the board.

Just then there's a hand on his shoulder, making him flinches in surprise.

"Kyungsoo ! are you alone ?" comes Minseok asking

excitedly.

Kyungsoo stills, gulping as he spots there's Junmyeon in front of them. He is already sighing inside his mind but he remains calm as he asks "uh are you two on a date ?"

Minseok laughs shyly "yup, its our first official date after being together...watching

movie is a must on the list so here we are"

Kyungsoo blinks, smiling sheepishly "a-ah...have fun on your date"

"thanks..are you here to watch movie too ? uhm I can ask you to watch together with us but uhm you know...."

Kyungsoo laughs awkwardly "don't feel bad,

you're on your first date so I won't interrupt..uh..I was just looking for what movie available, uhm I was gonna leave"

"ah okay. See you then, I'll tell you how my first official date went by !" Minseok says excitedly

"great ! uhm can't wait to hear...uh have fun !"

Kyungsoo mimicks a crying face as he turns around towards Chanyeol, wordlessly pulling the latter's arm and drags him out from the cinema.

"wait what happened ?" Chanyeol asks, confused

Kyungsoo pouts "I'll explain in the car, let's go first"

Kyungsoo whimpers as he aggressively scrolls his twitter "let's just not go there...the two are planning to eat buljajang too"

"oh really ? they told you that ?" Chanyeol asks, starting his car again

"nope. I read on their twitters, ugh they literally brag about the dates"

Kyungsoo answers so casually

"twitters ? I thought you don't have twitter?" Chanyeol raises his eyebrows

Kyungsoo freezes, his frustration disappears instantly "uhm...huh ?"

Chanyeol doesn't add words but still looking at him as if waiting for his answer "uh you know what,

let's just go eat at the mall. The food is good too" Kyungsoo says instead.

Chanyeol is unsatisfied but he just shrugs it off "alright, then...put on your seatbelt"

Kyungsoo quietly obeys, mentally facepalming for his slipped of tongue.

Kyungsoo walks into the mall with constant alert, looking around just to make sure there's nobody that knows them there.

Chanyeol has chuckled "chill Soo, we're on a date not doing crimes"

Kyungsoo blinks and then releases a sigh "I'm sorry, you must be bored"

"hey why would I be bored, being with you is enough for me...don't feel bad hmm ?" Chanyeol says, patting Kyungsoo's hair.

The shorter nods and they continue to look for the restaurant, the tense lessen as they don't meet anyone they know along the way.

Until they finally

sit down at one end table, Kyungsoo sighs in relief "finally, we sit on other than carseat"

Chanyeol chuckles "what do you wanna eat ?"

Kyungsoo purses his lips "gukbap and bulgogi !"

Chanyeol hums, giving cue to call the waiter over and starts telling him their orders.

Kyungsoo then excuses himself to the toilet "I'll be back"

Chanyeol nods "okay"

Kyungsoo enters the toilet while still feeling wary, eyes roaming around just in case. His gut is telling him that something is off but he just shrugs it all.

However later, once he's out from

the toilet, there sitting in front of Chanyeol is Rose. The infamous ex of the latter.

Kyungsoo holds his breath as he hides himself, of course they shouldn't be seen together by her as well. Chanyeol only told her he has a boyfriend, not telling her that its Kyungsoo.

Chanyeol breathes out a little sigh as he finds Kyungsoo slumping at one table at the corner. He then goes to sit beside his boyfriend and pokes his cheek "she just happened to saw me here, I couldn't tell her that I'm with you so I said I was alone...I'm so sorry"

Kyungsoo pouts, not saying anything. Chanyeol's pokes turn into gentle caresses on Kyungsoo's cheek "I'm sorry okay ? but she left already..aren't you hungry ? Let's eat ?"

Kyungsoo shakes his head "I'm not hungry anymore"

"then, what do you want to do ? Should we go

somewhere else ? You can choose another place"

"what for ? it will be ruined again and again...nothing works out today, we haven't done anything" Kyungsoo whines

Chanyeol sighs, pulling Kyungsoo into his embraces "I enjoy it today though, it's pretty memorable for

a first date"

"Liar....I'm so annoyed...why can't we just have a normal date...I can't relax, we keep bumping into them everywhere" Kyungsoo mutters, eyes getting teary

Chanyeol rubs his back gently and hums "then, should we book a hotel instead ? We won't meet anyone there"

Kyungsoo stills, looking up with his round eyes "h-hotel ?"

Chanyeol notices how flustered the latter is with his redden cheeks, he chuckles as he pinches on Kyungsoo's nose "just having our private time, we could order your buljajang then watch movie there..we don't

have to worry about anyone...its pretty convenient...we don't have to go out, we can just spend time together, just us"

Kyungsoo bites his lips, already tempted but then he pouts again as he glances at his watch "we don't have much time, my mom would be mad if I go home

before 6pm"

Kyungsoo pulls away, taking a deep breath then sighs "let's just call it a day..I don't know want to add my mom's wrath on my list of unfortunes today"

"hmm how about I tried talk to your mom ? She knows me as your tutor" Chanyeol suggests

Kyungsoo blinks

"do you think it'll work ? but its not good to lie"

"well then lets just add tutoring on our date today ?" Chanyeol asks

Kyungsoo hums "I don't know if my mom will allow"

Chanyeol smiles "there's only one way to find out"

They choose a small room for two with a queen size bed, Kyungsoo has blushed the moment they step into the room. He keeps fanning his warm cheeks up with his hands.

"are you sick ? Why are you so red ?" Chanyeol asks playfully as he places down their food and starts

arranging it on a table.

Kyungsoo presses his lips together before changing the topic "ah I'm so hungry, let's eat first"

Chanyeol snorts then gestures him to come and sit. Kyungsoo easily does, salivating at the sight of the Buljajangmyeon.

"yummm" Kyungsoo unconsciously

licks his lips.

Chanyeol smiles as he helps Kyungsoo to open it and gives him chopstick, though Kyungsoo can just do that by himself by being pampered by a handsome boyfriend ? bring it on.

Kyungsoo giggles to himself, Chanyeol is a amused "what's so funny ?"

Kyungsoo gives him a wide smile "we should've done this since teh beginning. I can't believe we spent hours in the car"

Chanyeol chuckles "at least we are together isn't it ? I didn't hate any second of it"

Kyungsoo blinks, can't help the smile as he blushes. "uh lets eat"

They start eating quietly at first before Chanyeol suddenly says "so you have a secret twitter acc ?"

Kyungsoo chokes on his food, coughing a little and clears his throat "uhh what do you mean ? I don't..."

"I saw you typing earlier, I'm pretty sure I saw twitter layout"

Chanyeol says, Kyungsoo bites his lips.

"well, I have a secret one too..where I post things about you" Chanyeol confesses

Kyungsoo widens his eyes "really ?"

Chanyeol nods "since we can't make our relationship public, I made a secret account"

"what's your username ?"

Kyungsoo asks curiously

Chanyeol purses his lips "why should I tell you ?"

Kyungsoo huffs "because you're my boyfriend ?"

Chanyeol chuckles "okay but tell me yours too so we could follow each other"

Kyungsoo stills "uhmm"

He then remembers all of his embarrassing

crush tweets. He gulps.

"I mean its okay you don't have to agree if you don't want too...I just thought that it'll be fun" Chanyeol shrugs.

Kyungsoo bites his inside cheeks "uhm give me 1 minute then"

Chanyeol chuckles as they both take out their phones.

"everything...this is my first relationship..I don't know if my mom will agree..and you...you're just so popular, I've seen your fans wrath and its honestly scary"

Chanyeol takes a deep breath "I'm sorry..but I'll protect you I promise hmm ?"

"I know...but people just

unpredictable sometimes and they just say whatever they want...they gonna start hating on me because how could a dumb, average, talentless like me get a perfect boyfriend like you" Kyungsoo mumbles

"hey hey don't say that about yourself, you're not dumb, average or talentless"

Chanyeol says, reaching out to hold Kyungsoo's hand and squeezes it.

Kyungsoo just presses his lips together, letting Chanyeol holds his hand.

"You're special to me, that's how I fell for you" Chanyeol adds, now caressing his thumb on Kyungsoo's skin.

Kyungsoo smiles

sheepishly, he does feels better hearing that "thank you...I..I love you"

Chanyeol smiles, lifting up Kyungso's hand and leans forward to kiss his knuckles "I love you too"

Kyungsoo blushes, can't help his smile getting wider. Chanyeol chuckles "alright, let's keep it

secret, gotta protect my baby"

"I'm sorry, you said you dislike doing things in secret" Kyungsoo mutters

"well, this is worth it. I'd like for us to be together in a long time..you don't have to be sorry because I know you meant well" Chanyeol smiles

Kyungsoo's heart flutters

Then he remembers something "uhm...but maybe you can just announce you're in a relationship ? So people can stop confessing to you"

Chanyeol raises his eyebrows before chuckling "I like you being possessive of me"

Kyungsoo pouts, whining "Chanyeolll"

Chanyeol laughs.

Kyungsoo almost squeals everytime the actor Kim Seonho appears on the screen, he can't even stop smiling as the confession scene plays.

"I like this kind of confession, its so simple but genuine..don't you think so ?" Kyungsoo mutters, earning a sleepy hmm from the latter.

They've been lying on the bed, cuddling with Kyungsoo laying his head on Chanyeol's arm ever since the movie started. Though it kinda awkward at first, but they're getting comfortable at skinship and affection.

Chanyeol is not paying attention to the screen in front of them,

his eyes has been droppy since he gets too comfy with both soft bed and soft boyfriend snuggling in his arms. He yawns as Kyungsoo turns to him.

"are you tired ?" Kyungsoo asks

"kinda...I'm sorry, did I ruin your mood ?" Chanyeol asks, pressing his nose on Kyungsoo's hair

"no its fine...you can sleep" Kyungsoo mutters

Chanyeol hums "how can I ? We're on a date"

Chanyeol then adjusts his position so he could sit up, but Kyungsoo quickly holds him down "just sleep until the movie ends..I will wake you up"

Chanyeol is more awake at that

"are you sure ? I'm so sorry Soo"

Kyungsoo smiles to show him that he's okay "it's really fine, you're tired because of the match...you can sleep a bit...you just have to cuddle me"

Chanyeol chuckles lazily "getting comfortable aren't you ?

Kyungsoo giggles when

Chanyeol pulls him closer by the waist, almost yelp when Chanyeol kisses his neck.

"sleep now, i'm gonna continue watching" Kyungsoo says

"hmm kay, but don't cheat on me with that Kim Seonho guy, I have dimple too" Chanyeol says despite already closing his eyes.

Kyungsoo chuckles "but he has two dimples"

Chanyeol opens his eyes "but I'm more handsome than him"

Kyungsoo bites his lips "sleep, I don't wanna miss the storylin--ack Chanyeol !"

Chanyeol swiftly presses Kyungsoo down the bed, leaning on top of him with his sleepy eyes.

Kyungsoo giggles, whining as he tries to push Chanyeol away " you're heavy !"

Chanyeol smiles, leaning down to kiss on Kyungsoo's forehead, Kyungsoo blushes as their eyes meet. Two hearts beat louder at the same time, in tandem with the butterflies dancing in their tummies.

Chanyeol chuckles at how flustered Kyungsoo is, he caresses Kyungsoo's cheek "can I kiss you ?"

Kyungsoo instinctively licks his lips "why so suddenly ? "

Chanyeol smiles "I just want to"

Kyungsoo bites his lips before slowly nodding his head, Chanyeol doesn't need to be told

twice, he tenderly presses their lips together in a chaste kiss. It's not a long press, not even passionate, just innocent simple kiss yet it makes their hearts fluttered.

"so, is this romantic enough for you ? simple yet genuine ?" Chanyeol asks when he pulls away.

Kyungsoo blushes, turns out Chanyeol did heard him rambling about stuffs even though the latter clearly is tired and sleepy. His heart melts at Chanyeol's half hooded eyes. He reaches out to touch Chanyeol's eyelid with his thumb. "it is enough, now sleep, I need to rewind some

parts"

Chanyeol smiles and goes back to comfortably lying on the pillow, pulling Kyungsoo towards him in a way that he could backhug the smaller. He inhales Kyungsoo's scent as he slowly drifts to sleep.

Meanwhile Kyungsoo can feel Chanyeol's fast but steady heart beating

against his back, which in tune with his own heartbeats as well. He can't even catch up with the movie he's watching. Who needs Kim Seonho when he has the perfect Park Chanyeol as his boyfriend ? Someone he could hug and kiss all he wants, someone who is real beside him.

It is when the ending credit appears on the screen when suddenly Kyungsoo recieves a call from Baekhyun, Chanyeol stirs a little from the noise but only makes him hugs Kyungsoo closer.

Kyungsoo just answers the call and quietly asks "what is it ?"

"Soo ! Where are you ?"

Baekhyun asks.

Kyungsoo instinctively turns to look at Chanyeol's sleeping face, he asks "why ?"

"we're going to dinner altogether, you wanna join ?" Baekhyun asks

Kyungsoo hums "who're we ? all of you and your boyfriends ? i don't wanna be alone"

At that, Chanyeol opens his

eyes, frowning a little but Kyungsoo smiles at him.

"ah come on, just act like its a hangout, we all friends anyway...we will not neglect you my bro" Baekhyun says

Chanyeol mouthes quietly "who ?"

Kyungsoo smiles "Baek, I'm not coming..you know my mom..I need to study"

Chanyeol quietly snorts, having the urge to pinch Kyungsoo's nose, much to the smaller's silent protest.

"hmm okay, but don't feel that we neglect you okay ? Lets just hang tomorrow as usual...don't worry babe, we'll find you a boyfriend soon" Baekhyun says

Kyungsoo smiles

wider, amused "no thanks..I don't need a boyfriend...Kim Seonho is enough for me"

Chanyeol parts his lips, acting offended as Kyungsoo giggles.

"were you watching his movie again ? Stop being whipped over a character" Baekhyun nags

Kyungsoo chuckles "I'm just kidding,

but he's really hot though"

Chanyeol rounds his eyes as if getting mad jealous over that claim.

Baekhyun groans through the phone "this is why you're still single ! Your standard is too high"

Kyungsoo is still smiling, he sits up but Chanyeol quickly pushes himself to lie

on Kyungsoo's lap, face looking up.

"well if you know so, don't set me up with anyone..I'll find my own boyfriend" Kyungsoo says, caressing Chanyeol's hair. He chuckles when Chanyeol points at himself.

"ugh fine, are you sure you don't want a dinner together ? I could

talk to your mom" Baekhyun says

"nope. I'm good. I have a date with a tall handsome dimply man" Kyungsoo says

"ugh stop being delusional, Kim Seonho is not real !" Baekhyun scolds

Kyungsoo laughs "anyways, bye Baek..tell them I said hi"

Baekhyun mutters an okay before

ending the call. Kyungsoo is still laughing.

"what's so funny ?" Chanyeol asks, getting comfortable on his lover's lap.

"Baekhyun is" Kyungsoo says as Chanyeol finally sits up too and checks on the time.

"let's order take out and I'll send you home" Chanyeol says

Kyungsoo pouts instantly "I thought we are gonna study ?"

Chanyeol raises his eyebrows "you love study that much ?"

Kyungsoo rolls his eyes "I mean, I told my mom I was gonna study with you so that she would let me come home late tonight ! What if she asks me ?"

Chanyeol chuckles "alright then but let's eat first, I'm starving"

Kyungsoo smiles, though he doesn't really want to study, that's just an excuse so that they could spend time longer. Just then lands a peck on his cheek, he freezes then looks at Chanyeol questioningly.

"Is that Kim Seonho really that hot ?" Chanyeol asks

"oh shut up" Kyungsoo playfully groans and pushes Chanyeol away to get out from the bed.

Chanyeol laughs "well..I'm your boyfriend so I'm still winning"
