Evan Rachel Wood today: “I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”
Wood & 4 other women (so far) allege sexual assault, psychological abuse, and various forms of coercion, violence, and intimidation from Manson. These 5 women speak of PTSD, anxiety & other ongoing fallout from their experiences. But they also say it was important to come forward
Ashley Walters: “It became clear the abuse he’s caused; he continues to inflict on so many and I cannot stand by and let this happen to others. Brian Warner needs to be held accountable.”
Sarah McNeilly: “I believe he gets off on ruining people’s lives. I stand in support of all that have and all will come forward. I want to see Brian held accountable for his evil.”
Ashley Lindsay Morgan: “I have night terrors, PTSD, anxiety, and mostly crippling OCD. I try to wash constantlyto get  him out or off of me. ... I am coming forward so he will finally stop.”
Gabriella: "The reason I’m finally sharing this traumatic experience is for my healing and because I’m done being silent. I don’t believe it’s fair for someone to not be held accountable for their horrific actions. I’m not a victim. I’m a survivor."
From CA @SenSusanRubio letter to DOJ/FBI: "Individuals who engage in this kind of abuse are often serial offenders. If these allegations are true, and no investigation is undertaken...
Musician Chloe Black has made allegations of physical abuse. Actor Charlyne Yi endured horrific online abuse after speaking out about MM/Brian Warner 3 yrs ago -- and now too: "It is fucking hard esp when Brian has so much power...& fans who choose not to hold him accountable."
For today's story, I spoke with @loveisbailey who has detailed a horrific alleged MM story from 2011 on her Instagram -- see her posts from Feb 1 & Feb 2: https://www.instagram.com/loveisbailey/
Love pointed out something SO relevant. Look, we know most/all HR depts are not yr friend. But at a TV show/studio, there are managers, execs, HR--even if these channels are bad/ineffective, occasionally they can kinda sorta work (usu in tandem with Bad Press. which studios hate)
In many creative industries, there's no one to go to. It's a freelance culture (as are most creative trades). You can't say anything to anyone bec the chances of you being driven out of the industry are enormous. So there's Love Bailey, at a fashion shoot at a recording studio.
Love was allegedly threatened, believed her life in danger, subjected to LGBTQ hate speech. All for doing her job in a competitive, difficult industry. Speaking generally, a creative environment does not = license to terrorize others. Esp those from marginalized communities.
Charlyne Yi was at work, trying to do her job, and allegedly endured racist & sexist harassment, and is still paying the price. That is *in addition* to all the other obstacles women of color face in this industry. Here is Charlyne's full statement: https://www.instagram.com/p/CKw3xISpHRo/
