Alright #DnD folks, let's talk.

You've played D&D for so long, it's comfortable, your friends know it.

But deep down, you know you want try something else...it's eating you up inside.

Allow me to introduce you to Slayers.
Slayers is a monster hunting RPG that takes place in a cursed, infinitely expanding city. Each class has a unique mechanic, so every player at the table has their own special experience?

Check it out.

Ok, let's get into Slayers as a DnD killer 👇
You like classes. You've got your bards, wizards, fighters. It's nice having a thing you're good at!

Slayers also has classes. Blades are fast sword fighters, Tacticians control the battlefield.

The best part? You could invent a class for Slayers, in minutes. Go beyond the book
Mechanics? D&D is comfortable, it's roll d20+modifier.

But, you're a wizard, you bend reality. Your friend is a fighter, wielding a legendary weapon.

Shouldn't your core mechanical experience be different, to represent those different roles you play?

Enter Slayers.
Blades use an exploding dice rule to represent combos, arcanists use a push your luck mechanic for tapping into their powers.

The tactician is literally swapping dice around the whole fight.

Every class feels and plays differently, and that's the good shit right there.
"But Spencer, I like fantasy settings"

Fair! Slayers is more that urban fantasy thing. But the game takes place in an infinitely expanding city, so there is no reason you couldn't have some neighborhoods that scratch that old school fantasy itch you have.

DnD is a good combat game, that's what the rules support! Slayers is also a combat focused game, but streamlines a lot of the experience to keep things moving.

Slayers combat is fast, and lethal, and we're not whittling down 100+ HP pools here.
"Why would I play anything other than DnD, I can just hack it?"

That's a whole other convo. BUT, Slayers is wildly hackable as well! Just check out the Slayers Jam, and look at all the incredible classes, monster, and setting material folks made. https://itch.io/jam/slayers-jam
"I just don't have the time to learn a new ruleset".

I get that, totally. But I promise you, the rules of Slayers are a fraction of DnD's, and they literally all revolve rolling any dice and hoping it rolls a 4+.

That's it, 4 and above is good, everything below is bad!
I think Slayers can be a #DnD killer. It scratches the class-based monster slaying experience a lot of folks look to 5E for, but with a lot of the baggage sliced away.

Infinitely hackable, unique experiences. Try Slayers today! https://gilarpgs.itch.io/slayers
