Namjoon& #39;s sitting on a swing set in the park drinking red wine straight out of the bottle when Jimin appears behind him with a warm summer wind that cuts through the chill of the winter air.
No one else is around, it& #39;s the middle of the night and the cold has driven anyone who would be out inside to the welcoming warmth of their homes.

To the people waiting for them inside those places. Namjοοn wants someone to be there for him.
He wants loving arms to wrap around him when he gets home and for all the stress of the day to melt off because he knows he& #39;s in the presence of someone who loves him more than anyone.

/His/ person. Someone he was made more and vice versa.

A soulmate.
What& #39;s a soul? How do you know if a person has one? Another being?

Jimin cuts into his brooding finally breaking the silence with a question, "What& #39;s the occasion?"

He sits down on the swing beside him accepting the bottle when Namjoon hands it over and Namjoon +
+ suppress a wildly unhinged giggle at the sight of a being older than time sitting on a invention meant for human children drinking cheap wine.
Namjoon wasn& #39;t much younger but he was human now.

His humanity gifted to him by a friend, and he now had a soul just like humans with the ability to find their happiness even though their time alive ended in the blink of an eye.
"My girlfriend broke up with me."

"You knew she would."

"No l didn& #39;t or I wouldn& #39;t be out here drinking this garbage on a children& #39;s toy." Namjοon snaps at him snatching the bottle back.
"I look like them, I feel like them and I still can& #39;t just.." Namjοon trails off dragging his hands down his face.

"So it seems the answer to eternal boredom is not a human soul and body."

"Don& #39;t patronize me."

"I wouldn& #39;t dream of it."
They lapse back into silence and Namjοon turns to Jimin looking at his face.

The illusion of human is there but not quite hitting the mark. Jimin clings to his godhood like all gods no matter what form he& #39;s in.
His skin glows too golden and his features are too perfect for a real human face, instead it& #39;s a face made to be worshiped.
"Maybe you could be reborn as a fish if you ask again, they& #39;re simple creatures. No worries. You could try and find your fish soulmate, be happy, fuck and die within the span of a year."

"What did I say is patronizing me?" Namjoon grumbles standing up to walk home and stumbles.
His human body is effected by alcohol and he forgets it often; his head feeling fuzzy and the edges of his vision blurring but Jimin& #39;s hand on his waist steadies him.

"And like I said I wouldn& #39;t dream of it."
"What /do/ you dream of Jimin?" Namjoon ask annoyed because he knows when he& #39;s being patronized; human doesn& #39;t mean stupid.

"You."

He snorts, "Wrong answer. You don& #39;t dream or sleep or eat or-"
"If I could dream it would be you." Jimin cuts him off easily linking their arms together and Namjoon allows it because in this form there& #39;s not much he can do about it.

"And what if I say I don& #39;t dream of you?
"You& #39;d be lying, something I& #39;m sure you& #39;re happy to do now you& #39;re human." Jimin smiles at him smugly as if he knows it like any other fact in the universe and Namjoon sticks his tongue out.
No use arguing about that one, the first time he ever dreamed in his life as a human he dreamed of Jimin.

It& #39;s experience he hopes after he finds what he& #39;s looking for in this human life he& #39;ll get to remember when he gets his true form back.
Namjoon pushes the fear of losing his memories here away and takes another swig of his wine. It& #39;s honestly disgusting, he doesn& #39;t know how he got through half of it "Make this better." he holds +
+ the bottle up to Jimin and Jimin raises an eyebrow.

"Thought you wanted to live like a human? If humans buy shitty wine at their local markets they have to drink the shitty wine."

Namjoon whines tugging at Jimin& #39;s arm pushing the bottles towards him "Ah just fix itttt."
"So unbecoming of a god."

"I& #39;m a human."

"A bratty one." Jimin teases waving a hand at the bottle and it grows warm in Namjοοn& #39;s hands and cools within seconds.
He takes another drink and the wine is richer, coating his tongue in sweetness and he moans happily. "Food consumption is so /good/ like this why can& #39;t we do this?"
As they continue to walk theres a soft fondness in Jimin& #39;s gaze as he watches him finish off the wine and Namjοοn gets a feeling in his stomach he recognizes as attraction.
Namjoon stops in his tracks letting go of Jimin& #39;s arm, "I can& #39;t be with you as a human. I-I can& #39;t be with you right now." he says because he has to say it.

The fabric of their very being was molded together when time itself created them.
Millennia as gods and Namjoon didn& #39;t know if they were together because they knew nothing else or because they were incapable of being apart.
"Then don& #39;t be, but when you& #39;re done with this come home my love." Jimin says gently pressing a kiss to his cheek.
Namjoon squeezes his eyes close refusing to cry or be swayed by him and with the same gentle, warm wind he& #39;d appeared with Jimin left and Namjoon was again alone.

Loneliness, it seems, is something every human becomes quite familiar with.
take another disjointed thought with little plot!! I can& #39;t write anything that makes sense!!!
