hiiiii this is gonna be my thread for all things ile that i just wanna ramble abt

but i think this roughly what the last ile of the dotharl looks like in my head...! hes briefly mentioned in iles carrd, so i wanted to expand on him a lil more!

the dotharl believe that their warriors are eternal! they're reborn so long as their souls burnt bright...! not every incarnation is the same, but during their lives, they are inspired by their past selves...! usually taking the same occupation, having similar interests...
they usually dont literally rmb their past selves, its usually left to the other tribe members to tell them about their past selves. but i enjoy the commentary about how they sometimes hv similar chara traits as their past selves... they are the same person at heart, after all!
alpha ile was an amicable, warm and lively presence! he loved speaking to others, keeping up with their lives, and offering a helping hand, usually by means of emotional support! he was far from wise, a little dumb, if anything, but he had a big heart!
its very impt to me that alpha ile had a disability that 'impaired' him from going thru the motions of 'regular life'.. ive left it vague! but essentially, he could not fight physically as others could, his mobility was impaired, etc.
but ile was still ile! he lived just as valiantly as everyone else! he was dearly loved for his contributions and presence in the community. i rly love the idea of inclusive and loving 'ethnic cultures', that we oh so lack irl, and i wanted to bring that life to the dotharl...
the good warm soul of ile is always present! current ile is far less talkative, but just as sweet at heart! this reincarnation, they dont have a disability that affects their movement, but no one approaches it as like, Oh They've Been Cured, it just.. happens 2 be that way!
its like, eternal life is a thing, but it also coexists with the understanding that each incantation is unique and they arent Compared to each other? its a sweet detail imo...!

current ile is on the autism spectrum! they don't pick up on some social cues, and are more comfortable with non-verbal communication. but this just means there are different nuances to their approach to social situations -->
--> being on the spectrum has absolutely no impact on his compassionate and loving qualities (as is the case for all people on the spectrum!)
