So I am creating this pinned thread with resources for **purely educational purposes** of organizing and building solidarity. I know when I first started on the Left these are the kind of things I would have loved to see instead of being told "just start a union or join an org".
First up I have some resources on what starting a union is like and what people who do that are attempting. http://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/anarchist-federation-of-britain-work#toc9
These next couple are what union organizers should be careful of when starting out and what they should be trying to achieve. I have some mild criticisms of these (for ableism and questionable imagery), but overall important resources. https://labornotes.org/secrets/handouts
A very simplified and useful article on unionizing. https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/y3md3v/how-to-organize-your-workplace-without-getting-caught
Always a good point when organizing is to not just be a mobilizer. I'm lucky enough to have comrades point this out.
Fantastic thread on community planting and organizing around it. https://twitter.com/AwkwardRambler/status/1390330129881128970?s=19
