Transactivism promotes the sex industry despite the fact that it is dehumanizing and violent; women in the sex industry have on average a mortality rate 40x higher than the general population, and the majority of trans-identified males murdered were in the sex industry.
🧵
Despite the known dangers of sex trafficking — HIV, rape, battering, murder — transactivists continue to portray it as "liberating".
Transactivist and TIM Janet Mock compared child sex trafficking to the underground railroad.
Decrim NY, which advocates for pimps in New York, is run in part by Cecilia Gentili, a transactivist and TIM.
Arresting those who are trafficked is not the right approach, but neither is decriminalizing men who pay to rape and profit from sexual slavery.
Then there's Paris Lees, vocal advocate for the sex industry, who was in 2018 invited to speak at a Time's Up rally, advocating the idea that men are equally harmed by patriarchy as women.
Lees has written several articles for Vice advocating paid rape for the unemployed.
If you're wondering why males are promoting an*l sex and paid rape to women and girls: it validates their fetishistic views of what women are, affirms that their a*us is no different from a v*lva, and encourages BDSM, a sexualized hierarchy.
"The a**hole, a universal vagina through which femaleness can always be accessed..."

TIMs often refer to their an*s as a v*lva. Normalizing an*l for women validates their fetish.

It's also why the @HRC labelled women's anatomy a "front hole", a clear reference to "back hole."
Hailey Heartless: BDSM, transactivist, promoter of paid rape. Instrumental in getting funding pulled for a rape relief shelter, and spoke at the Women's March.
The gender movement is populated by ♂️ addicted to BDSM and porn, who view women as sex objects.
In addition to targeting a women's rape relief shelter, HH made a BDSM-themed video targeted specifically at "TERFs", taunting women and "cis lesbians" in a sexually threatening way.
In Romania, trans-identifying male, 'sex worker' Antonella Lerca ran for public office on a decrim platform, despite the epidemic of women and girls trafficked into slavery; 86% of women in UK brothels were found to be from Romania; minors were targeted for 'training'.
Munroe Bergdorf was in 2019 appointed as Childline's "first LGBT+ campaigner" but days later was dropped.
Bergdorf has appeared in Playboy, presented as a model of womanhood for us to aspire to, and advocates for pimps, upholding the view that women are sex objects.
Ava Pipitone had the only lesbian on an LGBT panel booted. Pipitone advocates for the sex industry, is involved with the Baltimore Trans Alliance, which sponsored an event that advertised that “exclusionary” lesbians would be “hung (sic) by their necks” if they attended.
Lala Zannell, who works for ACLU, also advocates legalizing the sex industry, promoting the oft-repeated myths that decriminalizing paid rape and the right for men to access and profit from (overwhelmingly) women's bodies would protect them.
As with sex differences in sport, physiological differences mean males in the sex industry are less vulnerable to violence than women, though it does happen. Why would transactivists lobby in favor of a dehumanizing industry responsible for the murders of women *and* transwomen?
Being sex trafficked can be the ultimate validation of womanhood for men who fetishize women's oppression.

"In my late teens, I would imagine myself being sold into sex slavery and having strange men take advantage of me."
The reason TIMs bang on about making a paid rape industry "safe" is because they don't actually want sex trafficking to end. Like punters, they support male sexual entitlement; in fact, some even fetishize sexual slavery "as a woman" as the ultimate humiliation fantasy.
Prostitution is akin to slavery, one so intrinsically abusive that it cannot be fixed, only abolished.
It is estimated that there are 11 million sex trafficking victims worldwide, of whom 96% are women and girls.
Transactivists are working to institutionalize female slavery.
A UN study of violent men in six countries found that buying sex was the second most common factor in the backgrounds and lifestyles of men found guilty of rape.

It's common sense: when women are turned into commodities, men don't see them as human.

Researchers conducting a nine-country study interviewed 854 prostituted people, who reported experiencing a staggering amount of physical violence; 64% had been threatened with a weapon, 73% had been assaulted, 57% had been raped (unwanted sex for which they were not paid).
Violence is inherent to prostitution. Prostituted women have an enormously high rate of being murdered. Mostly by punters and pimps.

Germany, Spain, The Netherlands have some form of legalized prostitution; Sweden has the Nordic Model.
@nordicmodelnow
Research has found that when prostitution is fully decriminalized, trafficking increases - as does organized crime, sex tourism, child trafficking, and violence against women.
Full decrim only benefits men who pay to rape and those who sell women's bodies.

Men who claim womanhood see women as sexual objects they can possess. For these men, prostitution represents ultimate validation; for women, this shows us what they believe we are. Their defense of our slavery is an aggressive attempt to reduce women's humanity to a commodity.
