I’m so tired of going into support groups for ADHD women and seeing some variation of “my husband/fiancée/ boyfriend is so angry because I don’t keep our home clean enough for his liking”

Women are not your fucking support staff. I’m TIRED of watching women break down and cry from the shame and inferiority they feel. Are you fucking kidding me? This is abuse. It is ABUSE to demand someone do something they aren’t good at because you THINK they should due to gender
I was married to a man with ADHD who had women to clean up his messes his entire life and believed I would follow suit. He would TRASH our home then complain about how it looked. I cleaned once per week in those days. Why was it always trashed?
STOP teaching your son that his wife is going to come along and resolve the fact that you won’t make him learn to take care of himself. He should be able to cook and clean and take care of his home with or without help. Women are not training centers for half raised assholes.
