Day 1, salvage ship The Wretched. Flight engineer Tomas reporting. The other members of the crew are dead and the engines remain non-operational, though ship integrity remains good and life support systems are still active. I successfully jettisoned the intruder
from the airlock, but it remains alive and continues to try to access the ship. With a little luck I can repair the distress beacon and somebody will pick me up. This is Tomas, the last survivor of the wretched, signing off.
Day 2, salvage ship The Wretched, Flight Engineer Tomas reporting. Today was a harsh day. As Maria said in her premonition, the alien attacked, and now everything is coming apart. One of the engines bursted in fire, meaning I had to jettison it, the sewer system started to leak
leaving a disgusting smell, did some more reparings in the hull, and ended the day on a tragic note. I got Maria, Jeff and Susan, my closest friends from the crew and put their corpses in an airlock to be jettisoned. I swear that saying a last prayer for them might have been
Day 3, salvage ship The Wretched, Flight Engineer Tomas reporting. My day began by encountering Jeff's journal below his pillow. His last note talked about missing his father, fearing he must have said a last goodbye that day 47 days ago to the old fellow. The man is going
through a terminal illness. Jeff didn't even get to hug him. And I sent his corpse to space. Hope they can meet again someday.

Gravity was feeling shitty today as well, malfunctioning and sending me everywhere. As soon as I got to fix it, the comms blinked and I got to
hear a voice. Someone came search for us! The only thing I heard is that there was no sign of the Wretched yet. I really hope you mofos aren't the ones reading this journal finding my dead corpse. Mic was broken and I couldn't answer back, so let's just hope they do well
in their job. Day ended hitting an asteroid. Or was that yesterday? Can't remember. The thing is I spent the rest of the day doing maintainance. That's all for today. Tomas, signing off.
Day 4, salvage ship the Wretched, Flight Engineer Tomas reporting. Those bastards better hurry. Whatever it is I jettisoned from the ship came back. I heard it crawling outside the ship. Didn't get a good look at it, but it sounds like viscous liquid, like some kind of ooze
That's when the medic bay area started causing trouble. The fire extinguisher system turned off. I believe the engine that caught fire might have had something to do with it. I sealed all rooms from where the fog could have come from and activated it.
Then I recalled how the thing moved through the windows in the observatory deck. Fearing it might try to enter through there I took an hour reinforcing the windows with sheets of metal. That's when I heard noises in the vent system. It's here with me. I turned
Kelly's movie she liked so much on at max volume. That might allow me to move through the ship without having the creature hear me. Come soon. Tomas, out.
Day 5, salvage ship the Wretched, flight engineer Tomas reporting. Yesterday I went into my chambers and sealed the door. There is no other way in, so I should be safe I thought. That's when it happened. The thing took control of the comm system. It whispered glibberish, but one
thing stood out from all it was saying: "Tomas". What the fuck is going on? How did it do that and how does it know my name and that I am alive?? The alarm from the life support system informed it was malfunctioning. If there is one thing that needs to keep working til the
dumbasses find me is the life support system. I need to fix it. But what if there is no way to do so? I need to get out from The Wretched, or at least kick the thing out again. My mind was going numb. I sat on the floor and looked at the wall for the rest of the day, ignoring
Day 6. Don't fucking care about the protocol. The shit is coming for me. I made a list of the possible best places to hide in the ship. My room, the bathroom and the pilot chambers are sealed areas, so they are secure enough. If I manage to be near the cargo area, there's the
metal box as well. I don't think it can find me there. My last option is the kitchen's fridge, but I would rather not go there if possible. I need to make a plan, but ideas don't form on my head. While going near the Captain's chamber I could see his mutilated corpse again.
I hid as soon as I can, but I saw something moving INSIDE THE FREACKING CORPSE. WTF? I hid in the bathroom next to it, and the lights started to flicker. I swear the lights spelled my name in morse code. I don't know what is going on but I want out. I've already lost all hope on
the rescue team, but maybe, just maybe I can have the thing jettisoned out again to buy some time. Yeah, I'm going to do that tomorrow. Tomas, out.
Day 7, salvage ship the Wretched. Flight Engineer Tomas reporting. The thing has began making weird shouts. Picture someone with a raspy throat trying to scream, that's how it sounds like. The thing is, I heard it from outside the ship. Yep, it can be heard from the hull.
Maybe, just maybe, the thing left me for dead like the rescue team did. Either that or it is toying with me, which could be possible considering how intelligent it has proved to be. I went by Eric's corpse on my way to fixing the lights. The dude jumped in front of the creature
to save us time. Didn't serve much, but even though I didn't consider him a friend, I hope he is reminded a hero. It proceeded to detach one of the habitat modules. The more the time goes on, the more I wish I had payed attention to the premonition. The ship is falling
apart faster than I can fix it! I went fix the lights so I make sure I always see the thing. The place to fix it was narrow, in some other time I would have considered it uncomfortable. Now, it feels warm, calm... I stayed there for some more time than I should have and noted it
in my list of hiding spots. I will definitely come back here once this is all over. I really need some calm times amidst the storm.
Day 8. Salvage ship the Wretched, flight engineer Tomas reporting. I must say, I didn't expect to survive this long. Maybe there is a chance. The thing seems to have lost interest in me for the time being and is moving through the hull outside. I can see it moving its pseudopods
and stretching them to move. It reminds me of octopuses a bit, but black in its entirety, with corpse parts sticked to it. I took the time today off cleaning the med area. The thing can be contained in there, but I need to remove the many people that were obliterated while in
stasis. I forgot, but yesterday I saw in the radars something big getting closer. It's either more friends from the thing or a rescue team. Hopefully it's the first one. The water here cant be properly cleaned anymore before drinking, and I'm starving. I've even began to think
what the other things from it's species may call this one. Is it a bunch of gibberish or a true word? It did say my name before, so it knows our language. What an I writing? If you read this, I hate you, and why didn't you come sooner? Tomas out.
Day 9. Salvage ship the Wretched. Flight engineer Tomas reporting. I found it! How I can get someone to rescue me! I went to the Captain's chamber and looked for his Id. If there is someone that could have a beacon in place of emergency it would be him. I got his Id and used it
to reach his room. This guy slept like a king! Found an easy way out to where the antenna is located. With my knowledge, I could be able to use it to send an SOS signal. I did. Now we just need to wait and survive. There's hope, God damnit! Tomas out.
