okay so i’m finally researching adoption from an astro pov and apparently a little sample study (88 adopted children, using tropical) showed the most common moon placement being libra moon in 4H + taurus moon being the least common! also *none* of them had taurus asc
sun-moon conj. opp. and square are very common, followed by uranus conj. moon... uranus conj. asc + mars conj. pluto are the absolute highest placed aspects 👀
now from a vedic pov: joni patry said jupiter (significant of children) in 5H (children) could very much mean the person either won’t want kids or just won’t have them... however i found something interesting: jupiter in retrograde in 5H could be indicative of adoption
apparently, any planet in (r) that’s in 5H could show the person being interested in adoption from a young age!
following the myth of the moon seducing tara (jupiter’s wife) and the birth of mercury, i personally would go ahead and say that while any planet in retrograde could mean that, jupiter/mercury could show the strongest desires to adopt + moon in 5H
anuradha sharda, when talking about prashna kundali, mentions looking at this in the rashi chart (d1): lagna, 8H+8HL, 10H+10HL, saturn

not as indicators of adoptions but to see if this wish will be fulfilled! particularly: well placed 🪐 + strong 10H would mean
there’s good karma between you and this child you’re trying to adopt, and this it would probably go well (but it’s still important to check the whole chart ofc)
i think krs also mentioned the time during your jupiter mahadasha or the mahadasha of the 5HL or 11HL between ages 18 & 42, could also be indicative of *when* you’re having children/becoming a parent
