I'm about to go FULL Karen on the @usps because my mailman has decided to withhold mail from my entire cul-de-sac w/NO notice, and subsequently we have not received our mail since December 14th. He straight up just drives by our street every damn day. His reasoning? —
Because of the way the cul-de-sac is built, on trash day, 1 day/week, we have to put all of our trash cans next to the mailbox. NOT IN FRONT, mind you, just NEXT TO THEM (there is no other spot). This apparently makes his job SO DANGEROUS that he CANNOT do it ANY day of the week.
It makes his job SO dangerous that he cannot deliver packages to our doorstep. It makes his job SO dangerous, that he cannot deliver mail any other day of the week, when those sinister trash cans are safely tucked away in our yards.
The dude cannot even bring himself to turn down our street to even TRY and do his job. I have called, left messages, send emails, opened a ticket, went to the post office, and they still REFUSE to make this employee do his damn job.
Amazon, fedex, ups, and everybody else has no problem delivering to our super scary cul-de-sac. It's JUST THIS ONE GUY who can't figure it out. Unfortunately, he's the guy that is withholding my neighbors' and my Rx meds, bills, Christmas gifts from family, and everything else.
I tried contacting the trash company to see if they could help at all (busy signal). I've tried everything, and I don't know what else to do. We didn't design the cul-de-sac like this, it is not our fault, and all we want is our fucking mail. /rant
This is what we're working with. On trash day, the trash cans go to the right of the mailboxes. I'm pretty sure the van you can see here and the line of cars behind it belongs to the chop shop across the fence.
I mean the only thing I can think of to do at this point is just go buy some red paint, and paint the curb red, so that nobody parks there. But I'm sure that's defacing public property and is illegal 😂 IDK WHAT TO DO HERE @USPS help me out PLEASE
UPDATE: My neighbor went to the post office to pick up the mail that they were holding for him, anD THEY GAVE HIM THE MAIL FOR THE ENTIRE FUCKING CUL-DE-SAC. THEY GAVE MY MAIL TO A RANDOM MAN WHO CAME INTO THE P.O. AND SAID HE WAS MY NEIGHBOR WITH NO PROOF. WTF @USPS
Is that even legal??? I've never even met the guy?? And then when I went to the post office that same day, they had ANOTHER STACK OF MY MAIL. And they tried to give me SOMEONE ELSE'S PACKAGE. What does their organizational system look like?? I don't understand??
UPDATE: Went back to the P.O. and nobody there had heard of my problem OR of the last sup I spoke to so now y'all are just hiring GHOSTS at @USPS I GUESS
I RE-EXPLAINED my situation to the sup I talked to today, and he straight up just asked me "Well what's more important; your mail or your trash"
LIKE BITCH
BOTH OF THEM
WHAT KIND OF A QUESTION IS THAT
Like bruh, what's more important, the car or the gas that goes in it?? I NEED THEM BOTH AND I AM PAYING FOR THEM BOTH, NOW DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE STUPID ASS QUESTIONS?
I straight up told him I'm just gonna go buy some red paint and paint the fucken curb red and solve the problem myself and tHIS MF SAID TO ME "off the record, you should go for yellow instead" Y'ALL IM DONE. I STG @USPS COME GET THIS CLOWN
Yeah ok @USPS
I guess they don't list sinisterly-placed trash cans on that list though, so technically they're still good on their end
