ok so modern #bakudeku au where bakugou and deku are the only "kids" at their parents' holiday office party every year. baku always stakes out a corner of the party to chill but deku seeks him out every time and sticks to him like glue for the rest of the night.

and deku is too freakin dumb to bring something to occupy his time while they're forced to watch their parents drink/socialize with other grownups, so he always ends up asking baku about the book he's reading, what music he's listening to, etc.

baku begrudgingly allows it, giving short, clipped answers about literature bc he cant help showing off his literary chops or letting the nerd borrow an earbud bc his music taste is fuckin immaculate

and deku is pretty responsive to this anyways, always answering with a "kacchan sugoi" or "cool!!!!" or whatever and bakugou is just like "yeah i know im rad"

either way it always leads to conversation between them so they get to know each other pretty well over the years. baku likes to act put-upon but deep down, he is almost willing to admit to himself that he likes deku. just a little bit. even tho deku is a big dumb nerd.

but yea so basically the year bakugou turns 17, he and his parents get to the party and big fuckin surprise, deku looks /different/. like. HOT different.

he's definitely had a growth spurt and his hair is actually combed and trimmed neatly and it looks like he's filling out his ugly xmas sweater a LOT more now. bakugou feels all hot and shaky when deku comes over to him all shy like usual and asks what book he's got in his hand

anyways deku catches onto the fact that kacchan is looking at him different after like forty-five min of bakugou stuttering thru an explanation of symbolism in a christmas carol. so he pockets baku's book and takes his hand and leads him away from their corner

together they steal a handle of peppermint schnapps, a plate of cookies, and escape to the roof. they end up making out sloppily under the stars with minty fresh breath and sticky hands

maybe snow starts to fall or maybe bakugou pins deku to the frozen floor and grinds against him until they both come in their pants bc theyre disgustingly turned on and virginal and drunk and in love idk
