Bookstore clerk Katsuki is restocking when he sees a customer trying to reach for a book on the top shelf. He watches Izuku struggle for a bit before taking pity on him. Katsuki teases him for being short. Izuku blushes from embarrassment. It’s an infuriatingly adorable sight.

Katsuki bluntly tells him that the book he wants is garbage. Izuku laughs and tells him that he appreciates his honesty. He asks what he recommends. Katsuki helps Izuku pick out a book, then cashes him out. When Izuku shyly smiles and thanks him, he realizes that he has a crush.

Izuku returns and shares that he loved his suggestion. They bond over books and Izuku becomes his favourite customer. Izuku gifts him a book to thank him. On the last page, he sees a note. Izuku had written his number and a confession. Katsuki calls him with his own confession.
