#bkdk katsuki who practices kissing his hand or the mirror before his first kiss with his new bf deku

he's so nervous at messing up bc he's so happy that deku finally gave him a chance. he plans the whole date too.

takes him to his favorite restaurant and buys him katsudon. it's winter so they take a stroll in the park to see the Christmas lights.

they stand hand in hand in front of the Christmas tree and Izuku is looking at the gleaming lights against the night sky.

deku's too busy admiring the tree to notice katsuki admiring him. admiring the way the lights are reflected in his eyes.

he tightens his grip on his hand, grateful they're both wearing gloves bc katsuki's hands are almost sweating through the fabric.

he's staring so hard now, coming up with several different scenarios as to how he's going to kiss him.

but izuku looks up at him and smiles. katsuki turns away trying to hide the heat in his cheeks at being caught staring, while he dips his chin in his scarf.

/fuck, he lost his chance/

Izuku tugs at his arm that's holding his softly and katsuki looks at izuku and meets his gaze longingly.

the shorter boy grabs on his wrists for leverage as he gets on his tippy toes and leans forward with pouted lips.

katsuki nearly tumbles back bc /holy shit/ this is it?!

he's panicking on the inside as he leans forward too and closes his eyes too soon and bumps noses. with him.

katsuki eyes go wide as they both look into each other's eyes and Izuku starts laughing which makes him blush.

/dammit why is this shit so hard?! /

katsuki looks down and bites his lip contemplating.

/now or never/

he looks up to ask instead but izuku grabs his face with his hands to lower him to his level and plants a soft kiss on his lips.

and it's AMAZING.

IZUKU'S LIPS ARE SO SOFT AND KATSUKI IS SURE HE HEARD FIREWORKS SOMEWHERE.

but all too soon izuku is pulling away and it's katsuki's turn to chase those lips again, grabbing Izuku's face and kissing him so deeply he can practically feel Izuku's teeth against

his own at the closeness and Izuku laces his arms over his shoulders while katsuki hugs him around his waist.

Izuku tugs on katsuki's lower lip with his own and the blond melts like putty in his arms. he wants to try that too bc /holy shit/ it felt amazing.

katsuki doesn't miss the little whine that escapes deku when he does the same, dragging his tongue against his lip and when Izuku parts his lips and their tongues brush against each other's. it's euphoric.

there's a new intensity brewing between them and they can't help but keep chasing the feeling.

until they have to part to breathe as they stare into each other's twinkling eyes again.

katsuki can't help but notice how beautiful izuku looks right now.

had he always been this beautiful?

why hadn't he noticed?

he can feel his heart hammering in his chest and he feels so full.

was it a crime to be this happy?

would it be wrong to say he likes him so much it makes his chest ache?

no.

he /loves/ him.

there's so much history between them. so much back and forth. highs and lows.

katsuki's loved izuku for so long but hadn't realized it until right now at this very moment.

"i love you."
"i love you, kacchan."
