This isn't a bad pandemic response. Trump repeatedly called it a flu. He raged a war against masks. He refused WHO tests. He purposely sabotaged national testing to "keep the numbers down."  He threw away the game plan. He silenced the CDC. He aggressively pushed a bad drug./1

He out bid states life saving equipment. He fired oversight for PPP money and made it rain for his friends. He bought a pillow salesman to covid briefings. He held maskless super spreading rallies. And he had help. @jaredkushner stole PPE from states in desperate need./2

@GovRonDeSantis fired dozens of public health officials for accurately reporting cases and deaths. @VP declared victory over the virus  250k deaths ago. @MattGatez wore a freaking gas mask to make fun of the severity./3

Just weeks ago @tedcruz said we'd be done with it after the election. And still, as we have surpassed 3000 American deaths a day, @senatemajldr is refusing to even debate giving us our own tax dollars until he secures protection for his donors from liability from killing us. /4

This is not a bad pandemic response. Please stop calling it that. It is the purposeful protection of the fortunes of @GOP donors in exchange for the lives and the livelihoods of the poorest Americans. /5

It is the @gop sacrificing the lives of minorities and elderly for political gain and personal profit. It is a genocide that is being erroneously portrayed as negligence by our media. Rather we do or not, history will call this genocide. Because that's exactly what it is.  /6
