Shreekhetra of Lord ShreeJagannath is the most prominent of the 4-Dhams. A devotee after bathing in any pilgrimage, he/she should bathe in the Mahodadhi & have darshan of Lord ShreeJagannath, otherwise he/she can't get Salvation.....

So at the end pilgrims come to Puri for the Divinedarshan of Mahaprabhu after visiting all Dhams. And it's said that by offering Pinddaan & Dipping here one gets Salvation. The place in the temple from "Kalpavriksha (Kalpabruksha)" to "Mahodadhi" is called "Antarvedi".....

Leaving the body at this place leads to salvation. One of the ghats or places of Mahodadhi is Swargadwar. It is believed that Swargadwar is a place where cremation leads to heaven. The founders of all religions have come to Puri to have a vision of Mahabahu & have attained.......

....ନୃତ୍ୟ କରିଥାନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ସାର୍ବଭୌମ୍ୟ ଦେବତା ଯାହାଙ୍କର ରଙ୍ଗ ଗାଢ଼-କୃଷ୍ଣବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଏବଂ ଗୋଲାକାର ଆଖି (ଚ଼କାଡ଼ୋଳା-ଚ଼କାନୟନ-ଚ଼କାଆଖିଆ) ଦେବତା ଭାବରେ ଜଣାଶୁଣା। ଦୁଇ ହାତରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଆୟୂଧ; ଶଙ୍ଖ ଏବଂ ଚ଼କ୍ର ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ଶଙ୍ଖ ଈଶ୍ୱରୀୟ ଧ୍ୱନି ଓ ଚ଼କ୍ର ଈଶ୍ୱରୀୟ ଯନ୍ତ୍ର ଉତ୍ପାଦନ କରନ୍ତି.....

ଏହି ୨ଟି ଯନ୍ତ୍ର ଶିଳ୍ପ ପାଇଁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ତେଣୁ ଆମର ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶିଳ୍ପର ପ୍ରତୀକ ମଧ୍ଯ।

ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୨୦ ସେବକ ଉପ-ବର୍ଗକୁ ନେଇ ଗଠିତ ୩୬ଟି ବର୍ଗ ଯାହାକି ଛତିଶାନିଯୋଗ ନାମରେ ନାମିତ; ଏହି ପବିତ୍ର ଶିଳ୍ପରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ଆନନ୍ଦବଜାର ନାମକ ଏକ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ବଜାର ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲକ୍ଷ ଭକ୍ତ ମହାପ୍ରସାଦ ପାଇଥାନ୍ତି। ଏହି କାରଣରୁ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ଦୁନିଆର ସବୁଠୁ ବଡ଼ ଭୋଜନାଳୟ ବୋଲି ମନେକରାଯାଏ।

ହଁ, ତାଙ୍କରି ମହାନ୍ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ଦୁନିଆର ଅନ୍ୟ ମନ୍ଦିର ସହିତ ତୁଳନାତ୍ମକ ନୁହେଁ। ତାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ସବୁକିଛି ବହୁତ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ। ସମସ୍ତ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବୈଶିଷ୍ଟ୍ୟ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କୁ ସାର୍ବଭୌମ୍ୟ ଦେବତା, ସାର୍ବଭୌମ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେମ ଏବଂ କ୍ଷମାର ପ୍ରତୀକ କରିଥାଏ

ମହାବାହୁଙ୍କୁ ପରଂବ୍ରହ୍ମ କୁହାଯାଏ କାରଣ ପ୍ରକୃତ ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ତାଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟରେ ଏବଂ ନବକଳେବରରେ ସେହି ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ପୁରାତନ ବିଗ୍ରହଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅଣାଯାଇ ନୂତନ ବିଗ୍ରହଙ୍କଠାରେ ସ୍ଥାପନା କରାଯାଏ। ଏହା ଶ୍ରୀମଦ୍ଭଗବଦ୍ଗୀତାରେ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରାଯାଇଛି:

ଅର୍ଥ ପରଂବ୍ରହ୍ମ, ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନକାରୀ, ଅନନ୍ତ ଈଶ୍ୱରୀୟପୁରୁଷ, ଐଶ୍ବର୍ଯ୍ଯପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ବାମୀ ଯେ କି ଅଜନ୍ମା, ସେ ହିଁ ସର୍ବତ୍ର-ସର୍ବଜ୍ଞ-ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ। ସେ ହିଁ ସାର୍ବଭୌମ୍ୟ ପ୍ରେମର ଏକମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରତୀକାତ୍ମକ ଅଭିବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ ତରଳିଯାଏ, ସମସ୍ତ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଏକତା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମଳିନ ହୋଇଯାଏ।
