How to pick a fake profile.

Written by me using information I've learnt by osmosis.
1. Profile/banner pics

Are of random, generic stuff. Sometimes of the same/similar pictures.

Usually nothing to indicate anything personal and often professional looking photos.

Using my criteria, my pictures would make me wonder if I'm a fake account so take things in context
Professional photos suggest that the account creator lifted the photo from the internet.

Also, be wary of profiles which have significant numbers of American flags or Christian imagery. Possibly aren't fake but definitely rage inducing.
2. Name

Usually has the words "truth", "real", "pride/proud", "American" or some other gag-inducing circle jerk words
3. Tag

There's a reason why this meme exists.

(I wonder if they regret the spelling mistake?)
4. Age of account.

Joined September 2013, have 50 followers, following 200 people, and have 500 tweets? Hmmm...

Something similar to that is "oh, your account is 4 months old and you're saying garbage things?"

Probably fake.
5. Their timeline is almost exclusively retweets.

Especially be wary if the retweets are all from the same account.

Now that I think about it, it might be why Twitter forced us into commenting before retweeting. A bit like a captcha maybe?
6. Proudly proclaiming their religious affiliation in their bio.

Again, not necessarily bad in itself, but in context with other points could be problematic.
7. A high rating from Bot Sentinel.

Please, please, PLEASE get the app and the extension and donate to them. They're invaluable.
Note with bot sentinel, a high rating doesn't necessarily mean they're not human. I interact with a lot of people who are in the "disruptive" category and I've been on streams with them.
8. Just have shitty general opinions and are disruptive.

You'll find them mainly on accounts like trump or AOC.

Usually they're kissing trump's arse and asking AOC to make them a drink.
9. Oh, they post a lot of memes.

Usually the same ones and responding to the same people.

Memes are usually clear propaganda too.
So, what do we do with these accounts?

If they hit enough points above, go onto their profile and report them.

DO NOT INTERACT.

It just boosts their algorithm and your blood pressure.

They're there to cause arguments. You'll never sway them. It's their job not to be swayed.
They're there to create a false narrative that more people agree/disagree with the person who they're targeting.

They're there to help radicalise people.

And spread misinformation.

Just report and move on with your day.

Peace out✌️✌️✌️

Other addendum.
Another addendum:

Their timeline is exclusively only about one or two topics, sometimes interspaced with retweeted ads.

I mean, really? You've never once retweeted a cat video or stupid meme that has nothing to do with politics?
