Here is a thread on why I think Major is one of the best, if not the best sports anime of all time and why you guys should Watch Major

Basic plot:
The anime shows you a kid named Goro that strives to be a professional baseball player just like his father

Each season of Major is a different phase of his life. Little league, middle school, high school, minor league, and then the majors

To me, Major has the best story in sports anime. It shows you all the tough obstacles Goro went through in his baseball life and life in general

Goro is one of the hardest working MC you'll ever see. He puts his training to the max so he can achieve his dream of becoming a professional baseball player

One of the main reasons why ppl love Goro as an MC is that he'll do anything to achieve his goal. No matter how huge the goal is

Goro has a best friend named Sato who he convinced to play baseball with him. After a while, Sato realized that baseball is for him and that he wants to be the best baseball player he can be

The foundation of Goro and Sato’s friendship is so strong cuz it was built on baseball, and through that, they made each other rivals, a very healthy rivalry. But more on that, they want to win together as a battery as well

Seeing both Goro and Sato striving to achieve their goals together is really worth the watch by itself

One of the unique aspects of Major is that the anime focuses more on the character development of Goro and his training, and more less on the actual games. When they do show the games, it's enjoyable to watch

Mayumura is a rival of Goro. Mayumura also works hard to achieve his dream to become a professional. Mayumura and Goro both push each other to the limit everytime they face each other. One of my favorite rivalry in sports anime for sure

Look how amazing Mayumura can be! MY GOAT!! He's definitely one of most raw characters I've seen in anime

There's another rival of Goro that's also one of my favorite rivalries in anime.

The cast around Goro is honestly amazing! All the friends he made along the way to help him to achieve his dream is incredible! All the characters are lovable and fun to watch

If you like irl baseball, then you're going to find some irl baseball players getting referenced. For an example, Kyoshiro was based off of Ichiro Suzuki.

Major also has some incredible voice acting and some of your fav characters share the same seiyuu with some of the Major cast

When it comes to sports anime antagonist, there's no one like Joe Gibson himself. To me, he's the best antagonist in sports anime. This man is truly a goat!

Major gave me my favorite entrance in anime!

Major is the only anime that has Jeff Keane

If you love romance, Major has that covered

Major has some amazing openings!

The endings are also amazing!

The manga of Major is also amazing, but unfortunately it's not fully translated yet. Imo, I still like the anime more than the manga cuz of the animation, the ost, and the voice acting.

Goro has admirable principles. He was raised with manners (tho sometimes his emotions is all over the place, lol), he serves as a great example for everyone. For example, when he confronted a r*cist in S4

Imo, Major has the best sports anime arc of all time called the World cup arc. Every episode is amazing from this arc!

Let me tell you this one thing and one thing only! Major knows how to make you emotional, that is all
