But in the meantime I’m going to tell you which stories you should stay away from-
First is Spider-Man: One More Day
It involves Peter Parker, who now is publicly Spidey, sacrificing his marriage with Mary Jane to Mephisto (kind of the Marvel Devil basically) to get his secret identity back and keep Aunt May from dying.
It’s rough. Don’t do it.

Next is the Clone Saga, you may have heard of this one (there’s an Easter Egg for it in the Universal ride)
It’s like 150ish issues of constant editorial shifts and no clear direction and turned a celebration of 400 Amazing Spider-Man issues into a giant mess lasting for years.

Next is Superior Spider-Man. While not necessarily a bad title, it’s definitely weird and deals with Doc Ock living in Peter Parker’s body and being Spider-Man after a body swap and Peter dies in Otto’s body. This one is- interesting? But I wouldn’t recommend for new readers.
