I think we need a change of perspective. With rare exceptions like confined nursing home patients or someone breaking into your house and coughing on you, nobody just *gives* you COVID. You *get* it from someone as a result of your own choices and behavior. You are not blameless.
This idea that other people living their lives somehow puts YOU at risk as if all culpability rests on them is absolute insanity. You are responsible for your own behavior. Period. What YOU choose to do determines how at risk you are. And determines whether or not you get COVID.
When you blame others and say they are putting you at risk while absolving yourself, you are saying you should have the power to control their lives because you don't want responsibility of taking further precautions that you personally deem to be excessive (e.g. staying home).
Nevermind that you don't even have any evidence that these other people are sick. It's doing what YOU think is best out of fear of the unknown but only to a point you find personally tolerable and forcing others to do the same.

That isn't liberty.

You are responsible for you
