What I& #39;m Thankful For: A Thread

When I started writing #erotica and joined NSFW Twitter in August I was pleasantly surprised to find a community that was incredibly welcoming, supportive, and, yes, even loving.

#Thanksgiving

Going to list some people who& #39;ve made a huge impact on my writing and even my life in the short time I& #39;ve been here. In many cases, these people are writers themselves and I& #39;d encourage you to check out their work.

I& #39;ll be updating this thread throughout the day.

The first person to reach out to me about one of my books was @j_jarito. A great writer and a beautiful soul, she& #39;s given me lots of lovely feedback and I& #39;ll be eternally grateful to her. Her TL is always touching and inspirational.

3/
Other early and frequent feedback and kind words on my writing has come from @K_C_Ford & @kheslopwrites. These ladies -- talented writers themselves -- sure know how to make a writer feel better about their work than comes naturally.

I mention the people who& #39;ve reached out and given feedback first (and there have been many others) because of how incredibly rare and important this is for most creators. If you love someone& #39;s work, let them know. I& #39;m so thankful to all of you that have done so for me.

My voice of reason and a better friend than anyone in my "real life," @BeteNoire16 has been there for me on several sleepless nights with encouraging words, writing discussion, and wisdom beyond her years.

I don& #39;t know where I& #39;d be without her.

Another voice of reason and great friend is @RowenneClarke, a talented writer & cover artist (she even made these covers for me without me asking). She& #39;s funny, thoughtful, and her work crosses various #erotica genres.

Not sure I can add much to the deserved praise that& #39;s heaped on @AlexaSommers, but if there& #39;s a more helpful and encouraging smut writer out there I haven& #39;t found them. So thankful to know her, learn from her, and work with her.

The #12DaysofLustmas group: @AlexaSommers, @AuthorRidge, @Baxter_Erotica, @DareManus, @CullenWrites, @patterson_ml, @SandsShay, @TinaMoeder, @sabinesdaybook, @DanielaRLovejoy, and @CAZonErotica are the best in the biz and I still can& #39;t believe I get to work with them.

A recent friend and source of feedback and encouragement, @VivBlakeAuthor writes some mean #BDSM & wife-sharing books. She& #39;s also lent me her ear as I work through various problems, both writing- and life-related, and I& #39;m so thankful for that.

10/
Always giving more than he takes, @OxyfromSg is a selfless promoter of others& #39; work even as he himself is more talented than I think he realizes. His posts always put a smile on my face first thing in the morning.

Someone who& #39;s made a huge impact on me and many others in a really short time is @OpheliaLHanson. Smart, sweet, and funny, I love her writing and her insights on the craft.

Her puppy& #39;s hella cute, too.

One of the 1st people I met here, @SandsShay has been a constant source of inspiration and support. More than the sex goddess you see on her TL (although she is very much that), she& #39;s incredibly sweet, smart, and selfless. A great writer and even better friend.
