I better not see any hate towards Misha. Seriously. Disagreeing with him is FINE. But this is the only person willing to step forward in an attempt to acknowledge that we feel invalidated. He’s got the spirit and he’s trying.

Keep in mind he also only talks specifically of Cas’ death, and no one else under #yousilencedthem. He even went out of his way to specify that it’s his opinion, and later on acknowledged that he’s speaking from a place of privilege.

Under no circumstance is he intentionally trying to invalidate anyone’s feelings. Misha has ALWAYS fought tooth and nail to make people feel loved and validated in this fandom. He still has NDAs, and just like always, he spoke up because he wants people to feel heard.

Otherwise he wouldn’t have even addressed any of this, and then said it was his turn to then shut up and listen. He’s not perfect, but god dammit he’s trying.

It’s honestly sickening how I’ve felt like for years, he’s been the only one brave enough to step forward and try when it comes to this fandom. He cares about us so much, and he’s one of the few that has proved that.

It’s valid if you’re hurting. But just know who that should be directed at.
