I loved Twitter because I got to meet other weebs on here but now that I’ve ventured into this jungle, I realized all the dangers. I hate it. Stop canceling people after genuine apologies as they didn’t understand it before.
There are some special cases, such as people who did not apologize for what they did or tried to defend their wrongful actions, but if they apologized, cut them some slack. We’re all human. Put yourself in their shoes before you completely bulldoze their reputation.
Also, DO NOT ACCEPT APOLOGIES IF THEY ARE NOT AIMED TO YOU. You are in NO PLACE to say if that was okay or not okay. You could acknowledge if an apology was genuine or not, but as humans on social media, an apology is all we can really give. I thought this was common sense.
I may be wrong though. These are just my opinions on Twitter “canceling.” This thread is not aimed to anyone specifically.
Sorry if the tone was a bit serious for this, but I had to get my point across. If you don’t get what I’m saying or even if you disagree, It’s okay. Everybody is entitled to an opinion.
