Remember your November salary must cover your December expenses & December must cover Januworry.

I'll share my December & Januworry hacks below.

Draw up a budget & plan ahead.

What does this mean?

-Make arrangements or preparations
-Draw a budget
-Account for your plans in your budget
-Allocate funds
-stick to your budget. Don't overspend
-do not spend on something you've not budgeted for

November salary:

-Budget already drawn.
-Remember to follow the drill & pay yourself. It's always easier to automate savings & investments
-Pay for expenses

It has to sustain you until end of December

December salary:

If your December salary comes earlier than other months. Transfer it to a savings account.

Don't touch it until your normal pay day where you will transfer it back & follow the drill above.

it has to cover your Januworry expenses

My personal hacks:
-my family & I have a stokvel where we contribute monthly for our December getaway & outings
-buy grocery stamps
-i contribute to a stokvel that pays out in December. I use this towards school fees & registration
-i only receive my Dec salary on the last day
