StoryTime:
For the past few weeks I’ve had a scammer calling, same guy, different numbers. I’d pick up and hear ‘This is the Social Security administration, yadda, yadda, yadda’. At first I would just hang up the phone in annoyance...
Then he ramped up his operation. I was getting phone calls 3-7 times a day. I started pressing any number and telling the guy to stop calling me. But the calls kept coming.
Today I decided I’d had enough. I went ahead and called the guy multiple times in a row. Wouldn’t you know, he did not like that at all.
I’m like “I know you just want to make an honest living scamming people out of their hard-earned money, but take me off your list, I’m not giving you mine!”
The guy called me a b***, told me to stop calling and hung up on me.
Fast forward to tonight, when I logged into Twitter for the first time in a while and started DMing a romantic, kind-hearted and generous individual.
He made the very obvious mistake of telling a woman to calm down. Aside from that, he appeared quite sincere and eager to help.
We ended the conversation on hreat terms, with me giving him a phone number.
Sooooooo the phone number I gave him?

That’s the scammer from this morning.

The End.
@senatorshoshana you definitely inspired some of this 😆
