now, as we know, komahina is a popular ship in the community. if you have read the above thread or even did as little as play the game, you know that hajime has not only shown interest in nagito and how he thinks, but has been one of the only ppl who attempted to understand him.
in the prologue, nagito wakes up hajime who eventually admits that he enjoyed his company. after learning his true nature, hajime is upset over being lied to by the only person who had helped him investigate the island.
hajime is a very blunt and straightforward person. the fact that hajime keeps coming back and questioning him proves that he is curious about komaeda. if youâve played his free time events, you will know what iâm talking about.
hajime also never acknowledges the fact that nagito calls himself trash. hajime knows that if he were to acknowledge it, nagitoâs self depreciation would only get worse. hajime understands nagito more than he gets credit for.
hajime has accepted that there is absolutely some kind of connection between the two because he acknowledges that there had to be a truth to nagito& #39;s words, because if there wasn& #39;t, he wouldn& #39;t have been able to feel a bond between him and nagito, which he brings up himself.
some of you might be thinking: âso, this is great information and all, but how does that make hajime bi?â or âhajime just thinks of him as a friendâ

hajime has gone through different life experiences and has a compromised viewpoint. because of unreliable narration, we shouldnât believe hajime is being truthful to others or even himself at all times. what iâm saying is that he likely is concealing his attraction to men.
however, after seeing how hajime interacts with all of the guys and girls in the game, it wouldnât be insane to think that he is bi.

in gundhams free time events, hajime says that he is happy to hold his hand and be acknowledged by him. okay mlm king
in nekomaruâs fte, he gives hajime a massage. hajime thinks itâs addicting and almost doesnt want to admit that his body canât live without nekomaru. thats pretty gay of you hajime
in byakuyaâs fte, they ask hajime if he likes them. hajime is flustered at first but eventually tells them that they are amazing and he likes them.
in pekoâs fte, hajime is disappointed when peko doesnt want to go on a date with him. okay bi king
in mahirus fte, she asks hajime to take a picture of her. however, hajime locks eyes with her through the camera and suddenly feels embarrassed. awww
in kazuichiâs fte, kaz brings hajime to the beach and hajime asks if itâs a date. later, they hold hands and watch the sea for a while. you literally cant make this up
also... labeling characters as lgbtq+ in writing is important for the normalization of lgbtq+ people in the real world. characters that represent you or a group of people gives light that irl ppl like this exist, ultimately lessening the very real bias against the lgbt community.
so with that being said, regardless of what is or isnât canon, hajime is bi because i said so
