Alright so i’ve been getting a few messages lately about how I made my homemade deck and how to do this.
If you’re making your own homedeck for yourself, there’s nothing wrong with that, but you also have to consider that sometimes you need to be wary you’re not indulging -

and becoming addicted to pulling for yourself every five seconds. Yes I admit, they can be fun because the messages will resonate. but be careful. This thread is specifically for READERS ONLY. but i can’t stop those who are willing to try it either, it’s your choice really

Before you even start your own Homemade deck, you need to have good intentions on why you’re doing it. Are you doing it for personal gratification? Or are you doing it to help people?
Either way, whatever answer you get that feels right to you, go ahead

Most people aren’t aware of this but making homemade decks require A LOT of energy. Putting love and energy into your deck is going to work better for you in the long run. Always work on your deck with clear intentions and good vibes. Treat it with kindness and love as if it’s -
your own baby. The more love you gift towards your homemade deck, the more love they’ll give back.
1. Any cardboard, paper note, is fine. pick whatever suits you. and whatever feels right.
Here’s two examples of what I’ve used in the past.
Post it notes and Card.

2. When you are in the process of creating the cards and shaping them and what not, treat it with care
I tell you. the more you respect your cards, the better results you get in readings for clients. Don’t rush perfection.

3. Write down a list of messages, quotes, on a piece of paper or in your journal so you know what you’re going to write. This is handy because I was ballsy as heck and just wrote straight on the card.
4. TAKE AS MUCH BREAKS AS YOU NEED WHEN YOU’RE CREATING YOIR OWN DECK. I CANT SAY THIS ENOUGH.
I woke up sick the next day when I had created my General deck because I didn’t take a break.

It’s best to cut your cards/ shape them how you want and then take a break.. rest for a couple of hours and then come back to them. I know it’s so exciting to be working on something like this but RESIST.
5. Once you’ve had your break, grab your list and start writing the messages on your cards. If you ever get stuck on what messages to put down, Ask your guides. they will always help you, you weren’t called to do Homemade decks for nothing after all?!
They will always be there to help you out, especially with messages. The moment you ask for their help your mind will be FILLED with messages that you’ll probably find that you don’t have enough cards!!!!
6. Again, please set intention. pour love into these homemade decks. They are your tool to help guide people. You really have to be wary of your energy too.
7. Avoid being in a negative mindset while creating your homemade deck.
8. Cleanse your deck before and after!!! I really should have mentioned this earlier

9. Once you’ve created your deck. Hold it to your heart Chakra and thank your guides, your higher self and the universe for allowing you to make a beautiful tool that helps and guides those who are in need of it.
10. You can either interview it, or you can let it charge
It’s truly up to you. BUT THATS IT

I treat my homemade deck as if it’s another oracle deck that I had got from the shop. I love them and they guide and help myself and others
