After reading Meghan's OpEd and watching the reaction, I understand why the @RoyalFamily couldn't stand her and worked extremely hard to malign her.

They are afraid of her voice; Her ability to reach out and connect with people in an honest and authentic way.
Not since Princess Diana has the world seen such authenticity from a member of the @RoyalFamily.

And it's not from a lack of effort from the BRF as each day, a dedicated army of sycophantic reporters and a billionaire driven media empire try and convince the public otherwise.
Just like everything else they touch, their smear campaign against Meghan (and Harry) is a collosal failure and we will witness more in the medium to long term.

Yes there have been negative and hateful comments but these are fringe (yet deadly) voices.
These hateful voices are what the @RoyalFamily have chosen to not only associate themselves with but to also amplify by working with the very same people that perpetuate the hate and continue to host this hateful commentary on their social media channels.
Diana and Meghan. Two women from different times living similar painful experiences. The BRF has spent a lot of time and money trying to deny this.

The one thing they can't deny is the one thing they have in common. And that is the @RoyalFamily is the source of the pain.
This institution has been a cause of pain for many individuals, communities, countries and generations upon generations of people. Yet somehow they believe that we owe them a certain level of reverence.

It will not come from me.
That is why I can "very safely say" that I am glad the @RoyalFamily rejected Meghan and Harry.

Their loss is the world's gain.

And we are going to hold on to them and protect them at all costs.
