Some observations on the Themis boys eyes since I've never really closely observed and compared their eyes with each other until I'm trying to draw Lu Jinghe more seriously.

gonna make a thread below this comment and talk about some of the thoughts and observations

Xia Yan's eyes are more or less tarame eyes where the upper eye lash has a gentle arch and then curves back easily. The lower eyelash part is mostly flat but curves slightly up (in a gentle manner) to meet the upper eyelid.

The upper eyelid does droop just a tad. And he also has

the biggest eyes out of all 4 boys as seen in the model LMAO. I tried to take the most typical face of all 4 boys for the screenshots.

But yeah his typical face gives a more gentle feel. Note how his lower eyelash has a sliiiight curve upwards to convey a more smiling expr.

It's very minute and not too easily observed. But that slight curve on the bottom eyelid/eyelash does help give a more gentle feel.

And surprisingly, Xia Yan also has the deepest double eyelids outta all 4 (even more than Mo Yi???) hahaha

Mo Yi next since his upper lash also has similar curves like Xia Yan.

First things first. He has triple folded eyelids. I actually never noticed it until today. But yeah, go check his model from vid calls and you'll notice it. Triple fold just means an extra fold and you can

notice it near the middle of his brow since the eyelid folds kinda split off into 2 there.

Anyway, he also has the same arch as Xia Yan for the upper lashes but it kinda does a slight dip downwards then feathers outwards. So compared to Xia Yan's eyes where the curve folds in

more gently, for Xia Yan it kinda stops abruptly.
His lower eyelid/lash is mostly flat until near the edge of the face where it curves up (not too abruptly but also not as gently as Xia Yan's lower lash).

And it's also got a bit of thicker lines there so they give off thicker

lower lashes feel near the corner of the eye.

Mo Yi's eyes are more or less trapezoid shape but with a bit more curves. Esp with the inner corner of the eye from the upper lash drooping downward more. (A bit more than Xia Yan's actually)

Next one is Lu Jinghe's eyes. Originally I put him last since Zuo Ran and Mo Yi's eyes are similar size so I was gonna talk about Zuo Ran next. But given I kind of arranged the talk but the upper eyelid curves first, I guess Lu Jinghe next LOL.

But it's true though, LJH's eyes are quite

difficult to draw, only because the shape of the eyes are pretty peculiar (and thus the reason why I even started this thread coz after LJH I wanted to see the other boys' eye shape to see how to capture their "essence" from the eyes).

His upper eyelid has a very slight arch but

that arch only really goes to the 1/3 length of the eye and stops. Then it sort of goes straight then does a slight downward curve.

And the outer corners of the eyes does a VERY slight reverse S kind of curve? Like they curve in JUST A TAD, then curve out.
