Tbh what gives Eugene& #39;s love for AeShin so much depth is that he didn& #39;t just instantly fall for her but that he actually gets to know her first and through that comes to love the person that she is. They& #39;re so many instances where they simply talk and he tries to understand(1/5)
what motivates her & shaped her into this woman who& #39;s so unlike any noble woman he remembers from his past. And when he asks her questions like that it& #39;s never done in a judgemental way but because he honestly doesn& #39;t understand why anyone can have so much love for and fight(2/5)
with so much passion for a country that only ever brought him pain. But for her he actually wants to understand. And I think that passion & righteousness is something he deeply admires and comes to love, which is why he never tried to sway her from this path she has taken(3/5)

fighting-spirit is what makes her who she is & even despite never coming to love the country she fights for, he respects her enough to never try changing that about her. Tbh that whole "knowing & understanding her" is something I& #39;ve really been missing with both DM & HS. (5/5)
