Ever noticed what happens to a plant if you change its place and environment?

I recently moved this plant from one place to another. When you change a plant’s environment it apparently becomes lifeless. The leaves become yellow and eventually they fall off the plant. After some care and attention new leaves will grow and the plant will flourish again. (1)

Girls go through something similar after getting married. When a girl gets married she has to leave her house, her family, her friends, her comfortable life. She goes through a lot of change in a very short amount of time. she starts missing her previous life. (2)

Just like this plant a girl needs love & care to get adjusted into her new environment. Unfortunately, despite the fact that we are well aware of her sentiments, we expect too much from her. She is expected to accept her new home and adjust to her new life immediately. (3)

It is expected that she will become part of the new family and forget her previous life in no time. She constantly remains under “surveillance” putting unnecessary pressure on her which keeps building and eventually, sometimes, destroys the marriage.(4)

Many issues in our society get ignored just because no one talks about them. Sometimes a little bit of consideration can start making a difference . So please be supportive of your wife, DIL or SIL and help her to adjust and flourish in her new home.
