In fact, as I’m arguing in my dissertation, it is explicitly *because* of the effects of white supremacy that white people are declining in religiosity at higher rates than other racial groups.

This is also why I am deeply wary of white leftists and progressives who explicitly or implicitly treat religion as backwards or fundamentally corrupt. Religion isn’t the problem, white supremacy is.

Anyways. People are dragging the OP because the only way to not know how religious people of color (especially Black Americans) are is if you’re not paying attention and treating the culture and experiences of white people as the default for everyone.
