1. Leverage self-interest

Most people won& #39;t do anything if there& #39;s nothing in there for their best interest, and that& #39;s fine

You can do this by telling people up front what they can learn if they read the email all the way to the end
e.g: Let me tell you the story of when a merchant got me to pay him my hard-earned money and how you can use his exact same strategy to get paying clients.

e.g 2: I just signed a client for $2k/month and I& #39;ll be sharing the exact cold email template I used to get him on a call
2. Smooth transitions

Keep your email enjoyable by transitioning from one idea to another in a smooth way

You don& #39;t want to lose readers along the way and transitional words will keep them glued to your text since they create suspense

3. Format

As a rule of thumb, I try to never write more than 2 lines per paragraph (browser metric, that should be around 5-6 in mobile)

The goal of each paragraph is to take people to the next one

Keeping each one short and sweet will make people want to keep on reading
4. Write story-based emails

People love stories, they evoke a sense of curiosity and mystery that makes people want to know how it ends

If you can write a story and extrapolate a lesson, you& #39;ll outstand every other email in your reader& #39;s inbox
