Deepdive: I watched the Pennsylvania Voter Irregularity hearing

A few thoughts
-Mostly anecdotal evidence, but powerful testimony to Trump supporters
-Trump supporters believe 110% that he was robbed
-Those State Senators, who flubbed on the no-excuse absentee ballots, will..

1
...never get re-elected if they are percieved as the reason for this outcome
-There is alot of pressure from their constituents
-Politicians tend to act in their own best interests...always
-Democrats and MSM are making a huge mistake by ignoring the allegations of fraud

2
-People don’t realize this, but elections are carried out at the local level and ultimately the state senators have the final say in what happens with electors
-Republicans control the State Senate in all contested swing states except Nevada

3
-If local Republican fury continues to grow, they can push hard against their state senators
-This is exasperated by Democrats and MSM ignoring the issue and not providing counter arguments
-If Trump gets a large enough head of steam on this issue, he can push these senators

4
-The behavior of Democrats vote officials in Democrat controlled swing states is very suspicious...it looks like they have something to hide
-They think that so long as they stonewall questions, they can run out the clock
-No judge would dare disenfranchise so many votes

5
-True, but with enough of a mass movement against State Senators, things could change
-I’m reading the body language of the legislature at the hearings - they’d rather be anywhere else
-Don’t know what will happen, but if Trump keeps replicating this hearing, there’s an impact

6
-Again, if Republicans wanted to win every presidential race from now on they could...regardless of what the votes say -They control the state Senates and they can send whatever electors they want
-I think it would be a disaster for our democracy if this were to happen

7
-I would oppose this based on the need to respect election outcomes even if the other side cheated (this is an American tradition)
-But non-transparency in elections lead some to ask the question: “do the means justify the ends?”
-Dangerous question

8
-I say no, but many don’t share my pragmatic view of things
-I’d also like to add that many Republican voters are furious at the establisment for not properly supporting Trump
-In 2000, Republicans had their A-Team on the ground for Bush
-This time...nada

9
-If Republicans think they have rid themselves of Trump, then they are wrong
-Trump is the Republican Party
-There is no going back to the milk toast Mitt Romney party
-They want Republican politicians to be fighters and to scrap for every political inch

10
-Something that did not happen during these last elections
-To be clear, Trump lost because Republican State Senates agreed to stupid “Covid Necessitated” measures such as mass absentee ballots
-Some are slower on the uptake, but this is what’s happening

11
-Right of center pundits are getting throttled by Trump supporters for advocating a civil transition of power moving forward
-Supporters think they were robbed and they aren’t necessarily wrong
-But tradition has always mandated that the most votes win, even if they cheated

12
-If the system (state senators + courts) do not grant Trump election relief, he will leave office...he’s not dumb
-But he will not go away
-Fat lady has not sung
