Oh that's right, this is "safe holiday advice day." That got previewed on Monday.
Premier says it took 2744 person-hours to answer queries from the Auditor General whom Ford is now accusing of undermining the govt's pandemic response.
There are ~60,000 members of the core Ontario Public Service and if they all work an 8-hour day that's 480,000 person-hours available to the government in a single day.
Do the job we hired you for, Premier says to the Auditor General.

The AG is an independent officer of the legislature and the current AG was named to that position in 2013, two election cycles ago.

"Stick to watching the money" doesn't actually make any sense, since one of the obvious results of the province hastily building an alternative command structure instead of the existing EMO systems is that millions of dollars was spent that need not have been.
"The govt commissioned McKinsey to build this bloated, complicated 'tables' system" is, in fact, "watching the money."
