For the first time in 15 years, I wrote a poem.

Prior to the #COVID19 pandemic, I set out to enjoy life through random adventures that required leaving my apartment. Now these adventures have taken on a different ... virtual ... form. (1/n)
A friend introduced me to the spoken word poetry of @Koyczan. You may know him from the video below. When Shane offered a Zoom poetry workshop, I signed up. (2/n)
We went through the exercise of writing down a list of objects in our physical space, and we were asked to write a poem from the point of view of that object capturing its perception of us. (3/n)

The object I chose was my stethoscope.

All of us read out loud the first draft of our poems and received feedback from each other. Interacting with poets and creative thinkers was a welcome and refreshing experience for me. (5/n)
