Rudy Giuliani is now speaking at the Wyndham hotel in Gettysburg -- an event Trump planned to attend, but now will not.
He's speaking maskless indoors in what is obviously a fairly tightly packed room.

This is six days after his Washington, DC, press conference in similar circumstances (cramped quarters, indoors) where at least two attendees have since tested positive, including Giuliani's son.
Giuliani says that Virginia "turned out to be separated by 1%, I think we may actually have won Virginia."

Biden won the state by 10%, per the Department of Elections.
Giuliani says the entire election in Pennsylvania was a fraud, in his view.

"I know crooks really well," Giuliani says. "You give 'em an inch and they take a mile."
They offer Jenna Ellis -- who, along with Giuliani, is representing the president here -- an opportunity to speak, but she defers until the end, other than to say that she echoes everything Giuliani said.
(I am watching by video feed.)
They're now going through witnesses outlining their experiences as poll watchers and volunteers. It's unclear if and when Giuliani and/or Ellis will speak again.
"Without election integrity, we are just another banana republic," one witness testified, to applause.
The state's Lt. Gov. says that Giuliani is essentially criticizing his hosts, in part. https://twitter.com/JohnFetterman/status/1331667205050814464
The allegations are not particularly clear. For example, one guy said he saw USBs put into computer 24 times, more than he says is normal.

And then said that 47 "USB-v cards" [or USBV, I guess?] are missing now. [?]

Were there too many USBs, or are some missing? Unclear to me.
I, clearly, did not follow what he was alleging here or even what he's saying he witnessed.
The same guy also said he at one point personally saw 60,000-70,000 unopened mail-in ballots.

"My question is: where did the 70,000 ballots go? And nobody knows."

(The mail ballots overwhelmingly went to Biden; it's also not clear what he's alleging about this.)

This witness is holding up his poll watcher certificate as I guess proof that he had one, and says basically that he wasn't allowed in and then there was a dispute outside and that someone put video on Twitter and it has a lot of views but that he has fuller video of it, etc.
This witness is alleging that mailed ballots arrived having already been sliced open. He's basically saying that they couldn't effectively track the pace and path of mailed ballots being opened, taken out of their envelope and then counted.

(Also: that is... not a lot of masks)
Montgomery County GOP Chair Liz Preate Heavey -- speaking by Zoom -- says that her county contacted voters to "cure," or resolve, issues with ballots, but that a nearby county did not.

She is implying that Montgomery overreached to cure ballots and thus counted ineligible ones.
An elderly woman is jointly testifying with her daughter and son-in-law (pictured here).

The woman says she voted and received a print-out that didn't appear to record her vote for president. (Her son-in-law says the woman is 84, then corrects himself to say she's 80.)
He's saying the voting system was too complicated for the elderly and that it amounted to "voter suppression."
I *think* we just heard Trump himself on speakerphone with Giuliani and Ellis while they were sorting who would testify next.
Yep, it was Trump.

"I'm watching, it's fantastic," Trump is heard saying, on speakerphone with Giuliani and Ellis. "But let them finish their testimony."

Then the Republican lawmakers said "Ok" and continued with the testimony.
Trump is now speaking.

"This was an election that we won easily," Trump said. "This election was rigged and we can't let that happen."

"This election has to be turned around."
Ellis is holding up her phone while Trump talks on speakerphone.
"We won this election by a lot, we got 74 million votes," Trump says. (Biden got 80 million.)
So, to be clear, Trump is currently phoning into a Republican-led hearing at a Wyndham hotel in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania -- a state that has certified its results and a Biden victory -- to dispute Biden's election victory.

"This election was lost by the Democrats," he says.
"All we need is for some judge to listen to it properly," Trump says, though it's not really clear what he's talking about.

"I want to thank Rudy Giuliani for having the courage to do this. There were other lawyers that backed down because they were being screamed at."
Trump tells Giuliani over speakerphone: "This is going to be your crowning achievement because you're saving our country."

Trump then ends his remarks.
Trump appears to signal some are urging him to focus on 2024.

"It's a very sad thing for our country to have this and they have to turn over the results. It would be easy for me to say, `oh, let's worry about four years from now.' No -- this election was lost by the Democrats."
The event is wrapping up. The lawmaker who spearheaded it, Doug Mastriano, is saying how Afghanistan now has more secure elections that the U.S.

He says he can't believe this conversation is going on in Pennsylvania.

"We're not going to let it stand," he says.
The hearing has now ended. It lasted about three and a half hours.
