The record needs to be set straight about @BrianCDeese. I understand frustrations about BlackRock, but @sunrisemvmtnyc has it wrong about Brian's climate record. I should know. I had the privilege to work with him to accomplish MAJOR climate action for @BarackObama. Examples:

Almost exactly 4 years ago, we worked side by side to make the case for the historic @BearsEars16 National Monument in Utah. The original boundaries protected sacred sites for five tribal nations. We also started a process to build tribal co-management into the plans.

Then there was the time that @briancdeese and I traveled with @BarackObama to Midway Island to establish the LARGEST protected area in the ocean. This was done in consultation with native Hawaiian leaders who advised on the boundaries and future management plans.

No joke. For the past 4 years, I have held out hope that @BrianCDeese would return to the White House, because I know he can fix the wrongs and set out an ambitious climate agenda that will grow the economy. Please, @sunrisemvmtnyc, I ask you to look beyond the business card.
