THREAD: It is sickening how many tens of millions of people voted for Joe Biden because Trump is âmeanâ, without ever considering the dichotomy between the two administrations regarding our economic competition with China.
In his first term, Trump has tried to launch a geo-strategic manufacturing base to counter East Asia. He renegotiated NAFTA to the UMCA, launched a section 301 investigation into Chinaâs intellectual property violations and increased tariffs by $250BB.
He signed CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States) reform to institute fundamental changes in the review process for investments from China into the U.S. He cut corporate regulations and taxes so that companies would invest right here in the U.S., not China.
Joe Biden, on the other hand, has said on camera dozens of times how the rise of a China is a good thing. How we should be helping China. How China is not our competitor.

If you voted for Joe Biden purely because you think heâs a nice guy, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. You shouldnât vote unless you know what youâre voting for, not just who youâre voting for. Period.
