Rex Lapis Incognito - A Thoughtful Story About Anger.

When the Verses of Equilibrium became the teachings whereby every man and woman in Liyue would abide by, there was one person who grew angry at the records; for he was poor and he never enjoyed prosperity like all others /c
who followed the doctrine; thus he stood in the middle of Liyue Harbor, shouting in a very rude manner:

"Rex Lapis has no right to teach anything to others! You are as stupid as everyone else. Stop fooling everyone. You are a fake god!"
The followers of the Archon tried to overpower the angry person but to no avail, and he continued shouting and yelling his discontent, a tall man, elegant and handsome, with eyes of bright brilliant amber appeared from the crowd. /c
He held up a hand to stop the followers, and he said, "It is not necessary to counter aggression by aggression."

The amber-eyed man turned to the angry person, and with an enigmatic smile, a sway of his head, and he asked,
"Indulge and tell me, if you buy a gift for someone, and that person does not take it, to whom does that gift belong to?"

The angry person, mesmerized by those bright amber eyes, grew quiet for a moment, and he was surprised to be asked such an odd question. /c
But he answered,

"It would belong to me because I bought the gift"

The tall man smiled, his eyes twinkling bright gold, "That is correct, and it is exactly the same as your anger."
"If you become angry with me, and I do not feel insulted, then the anger falls back on you. You are then the only one who becomes unhappy, not me. All you have done is hurt yourself."

So said the amber-eyed man, smiling slightly at the angry person.
The person understood what the tall, amber-eyed man meant. All he felt in the end, was embarrassment. The tall man nodded, smiling, his amber eyes bright,

"No matter what situation it is, if you surrender yourself to anger, the anger will always take your life away from you."
A lesson to be learnt, indeed, and eventually the angry person was angry no more, and he soon enjoyed blessings and prosperity.

Manage your anger, else it would manage you, simply said as that. A still lake reflects the sky, take care what you speak or act; hurt yourself not.
