I would like to announce that I will no longer be participating in PDM’s jalsas and meetings. I have come to this decision after detailed consultations with my colleagues, friends and supporters. 1/6
Certain parties in PDM have either explicitly or implicitly, expressed their unease with my presence in the forum. The unnecessary friction caused as such, takes away from the important work that we do in our own respective rights. 2/6
We will continue to support PDM’s demands for strengthening democracy and civilian supremacy. We will continue with our struggle for justice and rights for our people, for upholding the rule of law and for the supremacy of the parliament and the constitution. 3/6
I would especially like to thank the PPP and @BBhuttoZardari for inviting me to the upcoming jalsa in Multan, to the APC that resulted in the formation of PDM, for the welcome in Karachi and for their continued support. 4/6
I would also like to thank all those who spoke up for me, who supported me and who continue to stand by me which includes activists and leaders from working class groups, from different ethnic, religious and socio-economic groups. 5/6
I would also like to thank Akhtar Mengal sb and Malick Baloch Sb for inviting me to PDM Quetta Jalsa.
Our struggle for marginalised communities will continue, our struggle is a joint struggle of all those who continue to suffer grave injustices at the hands of those in power. 6/6
