Is "Comfort and Joy" from BAT BOY a Christmas song?

Now that I've got "Comfort and Joy" on the brain... The first time I saw BAT BOY (which was the first preview), the transition music before Meredith and Shelley’s verse in “Comfort and Joy” was twice as long as it was just relentless eighth notes-

which accompanied a visual of Kailtin Hopkins & Kerry Butler entering w/ an ironing board, lit dramatically from below (I believe through a grate in the stage?)
 I was so taken w/ the length of the transition & I replayed the image in my mind whenever I listened to my boot.

Next time I saw BAT BOY (probably no more than a week later) the moment was 1/2 as long & the BAT BOY theme was (brilliantly) laid over the eighth notes. But I always missed the weirdness & bluntness of the unadorned, too-long transition music accompanying that bizarre visual.

...and now that I think about it, this is probably the reason all my songs go on for a minute longer than they should. Thanks, BAT BOY.
