Thanks to y'all, I'm about half way toward my goal for CNA!
And hey, I'm writing every day, which is also a gift. I've started a series of linked prose poems, about the pandemic, and what's going on in my personal life these days.
Kind of like a golden shovel or crown of sonnets (if you know what those are) but...not. At least not yet. So thank you for the donations AND the inspiration!
So to recap--I'm doing the 30 Poems in November ( https://cnam.org/event/30-poems-in-november/) fundraiser for the Center for New Americans. ( https://cnam.org/ ) CNA welcomes and serves immigrants in Western Massachusetts with free English classes and a range of support services.
This year, we aim to raise $50,000. My personal goal is $1000.
I try to write a poem a day for 30 days and you (hopefully) sponsor me, thereby helping to raise important funds for a great community-based group. You can find the link to give under my name here ( https://cnam.org/civi/pcp/info/?reset=1&id=411).
Please give what you can. Any amount you give is important and appreciated.

Do it for Ruth. You know she'd approve. Thanks!
