It's an video interview exam!
It's so funny lol at one part, we get to ask our Professor questions about our chosen topic (mine was music), and for my last question for him I asked him what song would he dedicate to his wife lol and we started going a little off topic and I was thinking on the fly!!!
He even called his wife and said that she said hi and of course I said hi and
(of course the wife is not in the video but he was asking her what love song his wife probably loves and then he said his wife can speak 4-5 languages!) Of course I complimented them in french!

One part was a set of questions he already gave us before hand so we could prepare for it. Things like "What do you usually do for the weekend?" "Do you love any sport" "How many are you in the family" etc and some on-the-spot follow up questions would come occasionally
I even mentioned to him at one part of our interview that we pray everyday with friends via Discord and he was surprised and playfully said "Please pray for me also!" (in French of course).
(I didn't know the French word for "sure!" and I just said the Eng word lol)

but this showed to me that I could understand what I hear even though I may not reply fully in French, which was very interesting.
He's very lighthearted and is very passionate about what he does...He is a Catholic husband and father. Ive admired him very much since Freshman year and he somehow knows how to expect the best from you but not pressure you for perfection. He also appreciates perseverance.
and then for the last part, we had to do a role play where I would be like a customer buying clothes and he would act like a salesman or something haha. I asked how much the jacket cost from his "store" and he started to explain how it was Gucci so it cost 1,000 + euros lol
Of course I may sound very playful but it was still professional. Our professor meant it to just be an enjoyable conversation in French. I got very positive feedback and he said it shows that I prepared for it!
(Even though towards the end of our roleplay, he said in French...

"Will you be paying with your credit card?"
And i just started mouthing the cost of the things I bought like a fool and I could see in his face when I replayed the video recording of my exam that my response was wrong lmfao...
Thank you everybody for the prayers
Deo Gratias!!!

I prayed St Thomas Aquinas's prayer before the exam and one thing I learned from this whole thing is that it's okay if you're a beginner and that trying to be perfect doesn't always come from a spirit of excellence but perhaps out of pride.
So I've learned to enjoy learning for this, try to do very well but see where I fall short and then improve etc etc etc like benchmark my learning progress something like that
It was a very difficult and challenging exam too, but it felt very rewarding. I've learned that worthwhile things (like this fairly small but very rewarding achievement) are not always going to be very easy but it felt reallly good
