So I created this jigsaw analogy for socialism a while ago and I wanted to share again.

A small thread.
Imagine you have a jigsaw. You build it from nothing. You get closer to finishing it and someone comes along and wrecks it. So you never have a chance to complete it.

So, you try again, you keep on building and then that same person comes along and wrecks it.
You continue to try and build this jigsaw. But each time, the same person comes along and ruins what you've been building.

Now imagine, after all these times trying to build your jigsaw, that the same person who has been wrecking it, tells you the jigsaw is broken.
You know the jigsaw is fine, but this person tells you the problem is not because they've been wrecking it, the problem is because the jigsaw model is flawed.

We would laugh at how ridiculous this claim is, wouldn't we?

Well, this is the same for socialism.
In every single nation where there has been attempts made to build socialism, capitalist nations have come along to wreck it.

We look at Vietnam, Cuba, Korea, China, Laos, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Soviet Union, not one of these nations under socialism were left alone.
Each nation faced invasion, they've faced coups, they've faced sanctions, embargoes, assisinations, economic hitmen.

Britain's use of naval blockades was largely the reason Germany lost WWI, yet, when this is used against socialist countries, it's ignored.
The socialist model is not broken, just as the jigsaw is not broken.

Capitalist countries come along to destroy the model, because the rich who control these nations, the bankers and elites, know that it will work and that is what they fear most.
The jigsaw is yet to be completed, but we have the pieces there to make it happen. If we build it together, as a united class, who is going to stop us?
