During lockdown, I stumbled across few amazing movies from down south!
Here are few of my favourite ones...

Interesting thread ahead and please do share your recommendations as well!
Kumbalangi Nights đŸ€©

The one which got me addicted to Mallu movies.
Officially a fan of Fahadh Faasil and Soubin Sahir.
Soon my Mallu friends started recommending few new-age movies!

Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25 happened and it was 💯
It seems Fahadh Faasil was in most of the movies that were recommended!

Njan Prakashan was a delightful watch and the satire was just fabulous!
P.s. Yes, the Yamaha RX also convinced me to watch this movie 😂
One fine day, dear friend Shankar made me watch North 24 Kaatham

Said this character reminded me of you đŸ€Ł
After the first scene, we both started laughing... And yes, he was right!

What a brilliant actor Fahadh is and how he becomes the movie character!
Soon, the recommendations on the OTT platforms were inclined towards these movies...

Super Deluxe had to be seen and again the story blew my mind off!
Yes, amazing actors and lovely cinematography, but the story was the gem!
Biker friends soon stepped in with their recommendations and obviously one had to watch movies of Dulquer Salmaan

Bangalore Days showed the bond of true friendship and it was beautiful.
Evert biker also started recommending, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi...

Interestingly had seen this during my post-graduation days and never knew that this was one of the cult movies of a mega star.
Had to re watch it and it's just one movie that makes you feel âŁïž
While watching Angamaly Diaries, I got distracted by all the amazing food!

In most of the scenes, either they were eating Pork or Beef and it was so yummy.

One simple story of a laid back place and all the twists and turns.
Mr. Fahadh at his best...

Trance was so well made... It showcased the world of God-men and their cons. Loved it!
