1) This thread is going to be the 1st in a series of threads called: ‘Know you enemies”
This thread is entitled: ‘Know your enemies1; a brief history of the Rothschilds Part I; 1743-1815’

2) To understand the history of the Rothschilds is key to understanding the history of the West, at least the last 250 years or so. It’s important to note that volumes can be written on the history of this family. This thread seeks to serve as highlights of the more major events

3) 1743:
Mayer Amschel Bauer, an Ashkenazi Jew, is born in Frankfurt, Germany, the son of Moses Amschel Bauer, a money lender and the proprietor of a counting house.

Moses Amschel Bauer places a red sign above the entrance door to his counting house. This sign is a red hexagram

4) (which geometrically and numerically translates into the number 666) which under Rothschild instruction will end up on the Israeli flag some two centuries later.

5) 1753:
Gutle Schnaper, an Ashkenazi Jew (future wife of Mayer Amschel Bauer), born to respected merchant, Wolf Salomon Schnaper.
Who will later be quoted saying: "if my boys did not want war there would be none"

6) 1760:
During this decade Mayer Amschel Bauer works for a bank owned by the Oppenheimers’ in Hanover, Germany.

He is highly successful and becomes a junior partner.

Whilst working at the bank he becomes acquainted with General von Estorff.

7) Following his father’s death, Bauer returns to Frankfurt to take over his father’s business.

Bauer recognizes the significance of the red hexagram and changes his name from Bauer to Rothschild, after the red hexagram or sign signifying 666 hanging over the entrance door

8) “Rot,” is German for, “Red,” “Schild,” is German for, “Sign” or “Shield” (there’s much debate among researchers as to whether sign or shield was the intended meaning, we will not digress into that debate here).

9) Now Mayer Amschel Rothschild discovers that General von Estorff is attached to the court of Prince William IX of Hesse-Hanau, one of the richest royal houses in Europe, which gained its’ wealth by the hiring out of Hessian soldiers to foreign countries for vast profits

10) a practice that continues today in the form of exporting, “peacekeeping,” troops throughout the world (Subject for another thread in the series)
He therefore makes the General’s acquaintance on the pretext of selling him valuable coins and trinkets at discounted prices.

11) As he plans, Rothschild is subsequently introduced to Prince William himself who is more than pleased with discounted prices he charges for his rare coins & trinkets, and Rothschild offers him a bonus for any other business the Prince can direct his way

12) Rothschild subsequently becomes close associates with Prince William & ends up doing business with him & members of the court.

13) He soon discovers that loaning money to gov'ts & royalty is more profitable than loaning to individuals, as the loans are bigger & are secured by the nation’s taxes.

Consider the following quote from Lysander Spooner which comes almost 100 years later:

14) “The Rothschilds & that class of money-lenders of whom they are the representatives & agents - men who never think of lending a shilling to their next-door neighbors, for purposes of honest industry, unless upon the most ample security, and at the highest rate of interest ...

15) stand ready, at all times, to lend money in unlimited amounts to those robbers and murderers, who call themselves governments, to be expended in shooting down those who do not submit quietly to being robbed and enslaved.” .....
