#Thread : Maratha Empire, expansion and Jihadi Aurangzeb's wet dreams

Hey Arif, it seems that you have got your history lessons from some Madarsa and hence this stupid comparison. Let me give you a brief history of the expansion of the Maratha empire.

I am an amateur history reader but have read enough that I can jog you till you sweat while listening to what I say about the expansion of the Maratha empire which was founded by the great Hindu King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
In 1630, Chhatrapati Shivray was born and from the very beginning he intentions were clear to get rid of the Mughals and other Islamic invaders who were looting the villages, plundering the temples, raping the women and converting people.
At the age of 16 or so, he took the oath to form the Swarajya and from then he never looked back ! He killed Jihadi's one by one, including Shahstekhan, Afzal Khan and many others.
He won battles and recaptured the land that was once ruled by the Islamic invaders, thus placing the Bhagwa Dhwaj on it.

Even when Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was invited in the Darbar of Aurangzeb, he never bowed in front of him, nor did his son Chh. Sambhaji
, thus showing Jihadi Aurangzeb his 'AUKAT' ! Aurangzeb, as usual, captured them both, thinking that he will stop the expansion of the Maratha Empire.

But by the grace of Maa Bhavani and wit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj,
the father-son duo managed to escape and thus turned the course of the History. One by one he captured the forts and furious by this the Jihadi Aurangzeb decided to come down to south to defeat the Hindu King !
Sadly in few years he passed away but he did not know that his lionheart son, an ardent Hindu and feirce warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was same as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and
with his exemplary skills managed to keep the Maratha empire from falling in the hands of the Jihadi Budha Aurangzeb.

Aurangzeb, being true to the murderous nature of his religion captured Sambhaji Maharaj by deceit and tried to convert him into Islam,
tortured him for months but Sambhaji Maharaj never ever budged. He succumbed to the injuries and died in 1689 ! But never ever let the Maratha empire fall in the hands of this Jihadi Aurangzeb
Then came Tararani, who, along with Maratha Sardars fought a valiant battle for the next 17 years thus keeping Aurangzeb and his Fanatic army from entering the south !
The wet dreams that Aurangzeb might be having in his Harem about capturing the south never got fulfilled and died like an insect in 1807!

After this came the Balaji Vishwanath Bhat who was Peshwa of Chh.Shahu Maharaj,
with his wit he was able to stabilize the rift in Maratha empire and thus laid the foundation of expansion of Swarajya into Samrajya.

In 1720,when he passed, the Greatest Hindu warrior, an ardent Bhakt of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his 'tactics' became the Peshwa.
Bajirao Peshwa the son of Balaji Vishwanath Bhat arrived on the turf. With his exemplary skills of war, diplomacy he set foot in the north. Thus expanding the Maratha empire like a wild fire! Burning the green flags with a crescent moon and placing the Bhagwa at the top everytime!
If you wish to read about his valour just read about "the tactics he used to set foot in Delhi "', i am sure you here and Aurangzeb in his grave will lose your mind.
After many years, the Bhagwa Dhwaj was placed on the Red fort by the Maratha and just FYI the Maratha's also went till Attock in the west, towards the Bengal in the East, to the Thanjavur in the South and Delhi in the North!
The thing is Arif, before posting anything related to Jihadi history and you guys trying to glorify it, remember 'Ab tumhare Baap yaha par baithe hai" !
No one will spare you if you try to spread the wrong history !
Jihadi Aurangzeb was never a part of this culture and never will be ! If you wish to glorify him, head towards the place where your ancestors came from !
